Hi, My friend has a 172 and it needs the Aux Belt and Cam belt changing. After a bit of searching, I take it a special tool is required and you cannot just get it done at a local garage? Is this correct?
Also how much are we talking for parts and labour for a job like this?
My friends...
lol ok, Come and hear mine first ;)
You appear to talk so much sense regarding putting stuff on the rear shelf, Yet you then put tweeters in the back :S
To the dude who used to do this for a living, Any chance you can let me know what company you worked for so I can avoid them?
Although...
My mates 172 needs a radio code after we took the radio out and put it back in to try in another car. Now we need the radio code but it ISNT in the book.
Anyway of obtaining this?
Thanks
I wanted to see what the fuss was about to be honest!!

Me and my mate just picked up a 172, I havent saw it yet but we bought it for a bit of fun, Im going over to see it and have a drive of it now :D
Its from a dealer with FRSH (not that makes a difference) with 29k on the clock. Dont know alot about it, Not even the colour I let my mate sort it...
If anything that video made me respect the Lupo even more!
Was quite shocked hjow long it took to pass TBH.
Oh and for the record, I dont really "like" Loops either, Would be an awesome car for a girl though.
If im honest. I believe they were an engine and a space frame, With a shel lresembling a metro on top.
I dont think they started with a MG Metro Base car :P
Its not automatic no more, check the small print, Most do not cover this under 21 though.
Bell However do Flexibell. Pay £29.95 more and you can drive any car 3rd party.
Insure aMetro in your name with flexibell, Insure an Evo as your dads and drive this occasionally for the win!
