Just picked up a 172.

  Hondata'd EP3 Type R
Me and my mate just picked up a 172, I havent saw it yet but we bought it for a bit of fun, Im going over to see it and have a drive of it now :D

Its from a dealer with FRSH (not that makes a difference) with 29k on the clock. Dont know alot about it, Not even the colour I let my mate sort it out and i gave him the cash.

Staying standard for now, Was a bit of an indulgent purchase but oh well.

Only reason I didnt buy it to replace my dynamique is its a 51 plater.

What sorta money should we have paid for it?

Thanks

erm how much money do you have lol

I wanted to see what the fuss was about to be honest!!

TBH i bought it cause I think i can make money on it, Im not even going to insure it, He will insure it and ill drive it as part of my drive other car policy on my insurance.

Its only bit of fun, We was looking at a 380bhp Pulsar but thought that could be a money pit.

ID keep it myself if it was a 182 and newer.

Parker's prices average out at £3465...

but thats for a 2001 with 70k miles so obviously worth a bit more with your mileage and if yours is a 2002!

you must really trust ur mate lol

these money making plans never really work or the dealer would have put it up at the right price to start with

there a dealer at the end of the day

  Add me 2 ur PS3 - Lylak
On *most* policies in order to drive DOC you need to be 25+ and have it confirmed on your policy.

It is not standard on car insurance anymore!

I don't understand? You basically just gave your mate some money to help him buy a better car that he might let you have a test drive in yeah?

It will also be interesting to see what happens when the current high depreciation rates come into play...
