theres a (backstreet) garage in Radcliffe that does it pretty cheap. He's a sound mechanic I've taken all my cars there. he just quoted me £120 but thats a dynamique. I have a contact number if you wanna give him a ring.
Always 1st time, but my friends old clio didn't start. he read the instructions and it told him to wait for the light with the box and a zig-zag line through it (like a heart rate monitor) to go off then start it. I always do that on mine and it works a treat so far :)
Old school cool, I love the styling and think they are much better looking than bigger fatter examples today. plus the designers didn't have to hold back as much due to safety :D saying that a few newer cars do look the part also
How'd it go at Reno?
I had a CV boot go on mine recently, and when it was in the garage they dropped the wheel and damaged each spoke. I phoned them up politely and asked about it, I guess they thought because I was being polite I'd be a push over so they told me the grease from the CV had done...
doubt it I dont think you will have planted the mini (I hope). The 1.2 will do the job, 'nippy' is the word. just dont take it down the motorway too much...
Bit harsh, I asked for a quote for a car as standard, its was around £1600 for a car worth £300. I then asked how much it would be to put on a pair of alloys and a back box, it leapt to around £2200-2400. The insurance companies bend over young drivers something rotten which is why so many...
Hey guy, how much did your kit set you back? Also what sort of safe power gains can you get? Does any-one know of any places in Manchester that would do a good job of fitting nitros. Also (last question, honest) does this kit look any good...
I very often doubt the trip it never moves from 37.5 mpg. I normally get about 160miles from 1/2 tank on my 1.2. Some of you guys must have super light feet!!
Why do people drink? its stupid, has no purpose and only looks/feels good when ur doing it. The end result is its fun but pointless, worthless and less than sensible. same with a big bore exhausts for me anyhow. I dont mind £60 once if it'll put a smile on my face daily, same idea as modding the...
In excellent condition. I know this because they are mine!

I agree and disagree at the same time. If I had 7k on the spot and it was insurable I'd buy a faster/better car (and prob still spend another 7k changing the bits i dont like) however buying my car then spending the odd £hundred here and there makes you hardly notice it until the bills come in...
The buyers fault for not checking before signing. Also UPS shouldn't have lost parcels and can confirm what was delivered. You did you're bit so you should be fine man. esp with insurance on the items
Hey,
I've seen a few guys on here who have just started sorting out their clio's with little bits and pieces. was thinking we could use this thread and every1 can show off the new toys for their cars when they buy them, we could borrow ideas etc. well I have had my pics up of my clio as it...
