The angel eyes are K-Tec yeah. The sideskirts were off of ebay, bargain at about £50-70 for the pair. Just 1 more photo of the black indicator bulb, as its now nice and dry outside:
If the distortion is only on the door speakers which are wired to the HU, but the sub and amp are fine you need to amp up you're door speakers. Its probably the headunit is sending too much bass to the door speakers aswell because you have bass turned up a bit for the sub, which is causing it to...
well yeah, and it p*sses me off. its either getting cut where its catching or coming out :)
Back on topic, if it was 140-150mm lower from bumper to floor would it be pretty much on the floor?
they're ace until you have to use the dipped beams, they are a very wierd light pattern. I will find out if they are MOT passes next month, if nto I'm gonna speak to K-Tec.
OK, I got bored and so decided to have a play about with my spare indicator bulbs, and I kinda like what I've done. So the question is do I go black or stay silvatec? (sorry about pic quality, phone camera)
And to prove the still flash orange properly:
So which do I go with?
in a shocker of a response on the clio forum, I'd get the VTR. plenty quick enough for a 1st car and a lot more reasonable insurance than a 17/182 or a VTS, plus you pick up some half decent ones and insure them within you're £5k budget. dont take out a loan on you're 1st car at 18, loans are...
Fair enough, if u get upgraded speakers with ur standard HU, you wont get much more performance out of the speakers. imo upgrade the head unit 1st, then upgrade your speakers.
Here you go mate, these are the ratings for T1-s, T1-r and PE2s from tyretest.com. This should give you an idea. I'll try and find the rating for F1s also.

The bass would be ok, however the components will sound 10x better amped. the fli is a good budget powered sub, so if you get the above JLaudio amp and them components you'll be happy for a while. If you were going to spend more than £100 on a sub then defo look at different, better quality subs...
I disagree, its not rocket science to be able to judge when your tyres are going to let go, flooring it in the wet with any tyre on is not a clever thing to be doing. You may have found more preferential tyres for your way of driving, but I've not had a problem with the toyo's, and previous to...
Fair enough, 6x9s are a good budget option because they dont do just bass, meaning the sound is a bit clearer all round the car imo. However if you dont do 6x9s you could try something like:

^ Or maybe he was pushing to hard... I have T1-s on mine and so far I have no problems with them, they grip perfectly fine in both the dry and the wet, of course only if you dont drive like a tit in the wet...
