Don't quite think I'm using my new Xbox to its full potential at the moment.
Playing....
Arcade Paradise - been playing this with my 7 year old with revolves around me spending hours doing laundry and her spending the whole time buying arcade machines and just playing them. Pretty addictive...
Game changer! Thats just a tick in the box for the HR department. At least I might actually be playing FM now when I'm whacking off.
I think they are using to Unity game engine whatever difference that makes. They are branding it as a sequel rather than just new features.
So some big news around FM this week FM25 is going to be a complete reboot most likely.
I peaked with FM around Championship Manager 01/02 and that was mostly me being sat up at 3am in the morning at my PC and needed an excuse to the Mrs for the fact I was more likely whacking off to the...
I'm currently in the process planning my garden office and moving out of my 1.2mx08.m cell into the garden. As she has given the go ahead to finance this via funding from an external source such as a bank if I wanted to factor in a sim rig for my xBox what equipment would I need and how much...
Yeah, looks like it was 50/50 ownership with them. So even if they received a small royalty for each sell they'd have made a pretty penny even outside profits from the game.
All depends on how any game sells there were.
Out of curiosity, as far as I remember anyone who owned an Amiga or Spectrum or whatever would have owned a copy of Dizzy at some point. In my head I have it as a massive brand at the time.
So..... what type of money would they have made? Like life changing amounts that they could have give up...
You are looking at the new US Open champion
Scottie Scheffler but a late run in to get the lead down to 1 but an eagle on the 15th was night night. Game over.
Bit of an update. Some good, some bad.
I've done a few of the challenges, started off with the basic coaching ones, swing, putting etc for those who have not played the game before. Was very basic as expected and aced them all first time. Also seemed like the putting ones were out of order with...
Ok, so another update. I'm becoming a proper fan boy.
So qualified for the Masters as an Amateur after winning the R&A at St Andrews and it was like playing a whole different game. The whole play of the golf course completely changed with the way the ball moved in flight, the bounce, the roll...
You can tell I'm proper old skool as I thought the customisation of the character is spot on. Handful of heads, fat or thin and dodgy haircuts. I don't really care what ring I'm wearing on my pinky finger.
The best bit of the customisation are the swing tyle customisations. I think most are...
Agree on the pricing being a bit wild but thinking back, apart from Unlocking all of Powerstar golf and buying GTAV on release date, possibly Forza Horizon 4 and maybe £6.99 on an Assassins Creed I don't think I've bought any other game for 5 years. Solely a Game Pass man. So this was my little...
What colour would you like your bumper spraying sir?
You know those road signs, the round ones with a black truck in.... I think the border colour would look great.
Managed to get myself a Series S in the end. Downloaded PGA Tour 2023 last night and loving it.
Swing mechanics and ball physics are spot on. Only gripe is that there seems to be a bug in the golf creator so I couldn't change anything on the screen where you choose if left or right handed etc...
I binned my Dads 440 in the wet aged 17. No ABS locked up snapped the wheel, subframe the lot on the curb. Luckily I never ended up in someones front room.
Was mint as well.
Finally went to sign up for Sky and by the time I got down to it, the 56Mbps @ £25 a month through USwitch turned out to be 11MBs@£24 and then £35 after 6 months.
So.... next plan is to go just Broadband with Virgin.
Next Question.... I thought there was some law brought in that stopped...
Bit of a silly question but I want to cancel my Vrigin package (£70) and just get Sky superfastish broadband. (£25)
Do I cancel my Virgin package and then sign up to Sky or sign up to Sky and then they'll do some magic and I then cancel my Virgin?
Windows+Shift+S is shortcut to snipping tool.
Also if you've got something like the start menu open as you are trying to get a grab to show someone where something is for example it doesn't close it like snipping tool does
Whats wrong with the games you got will be her answer.
She honestly is totally anti gaming. Ever since our 14 year old daughter started playing Fortnite and now Apex and whenever she asks her anything she replies "Hang on I'm n a game". Then when she asks me to sort her out I just reply "Let...
I sort of mumbled the Series X would be more sensible to buy and its £449.
I'm sure she'll need to go out with her mates now for a pamper and prosseco day that will probably cost £500 to get over me thinking its OK to just waste money.
We are back to the what's wrong with the one you have...
lol, if I put in my plan that you actually have to pay for games as well as pay £449 for the consoles she would probably get her mates in to sit on an independent committee to review it!
Afternoon, stupid question I expect but I think I've finally been given permission to spend money I earn on myself so was going to get a new Xbox finally.
I have been reading some stuff and it keeps mentioning games that are Series X exclusive. Does this mean that they won't work on the Series S?
