Well I had a pretty hardcore track car, until it had a serious electrical problem, then I just ditched the thing as it was pissing me off (not to live with everyday I should add)
I had AST suspension, which was quite simply epic. I was always set on getting proper suspension, not that cheap...
You got a response, in that it's not very logical to fit a diff to a standard car on track. There are many other things that can be done before that, namely the suspension. Is yours standard? Not sure if you said or not.
If you still have standard suspension on your cup then it's madness that you would want to spend 1k on an LSD for a little improvement, rather than 1k on suspension that would completely transform the handling (and I would know as I had ASTs on my 182)
If you're racing then go for it, but it seems a complete waste for a track car. It will shave a couple of seconds at most off your laptimes (which is substantial when racing) but not really worth it for track.
An LSD was never on my wishlist for my track 182, I'd rather spend the money on track...
Received my 4S this morning, been messing about with it a little. Impressed so far, although watching the battery percentage plummet is alarming, but something I'm used to having an HTC Desire previously.
Any tips for improving it? Apart from the obvious, like disabling push and location based...
Tried to pick mine up today from TNT depot as I was driving that way anyway, called before I left to make sure it was ok, lady said it was.
Arrived, only to find that they didn't have the key for the high value cage and so they couldn't get my parcel.
Idiots.
Oh well.
Re: having come from a impreza what are cliosports like in the snow
Tbh, it's not usually about if the cars are capable in the snow, it's the dickhead drivers who can't adapt to driving in the snow.
(not call you one btw, just generalisation)
Re: having come from a impreza what are cliosports like in the snow
Mine was fine, but when it's properly bad, don't expect them to be any better than other cars.
You had four wheel drive in the scooby too, so I bet that would have helped!
Well my first choice was lensesforhire.co.uk, but they didn't have any in stock.
So I tried two other companies, lensfettish and lenspimp.
Kooky names I know! Lenspimp had one in stack so I went with them, arrived yesterday. Looks brand new! Had a play with it today, amazing lens.
I like that you try to get the different shots, I would be the same.
That's why I really admire Darren Heath's F1 work, he always tries to get that 'different shot'.
Here's one of my favourite shots of his:
I guess you just rattle of loads of shots in hope that one has that effect.
Great...
