I did it in 2004, the course was really out of date though. I would say it's better to get some specific qualifications rather than the A+, probably better in the long run if you get a recognised SQL qualification.
Top work, what is Thruxton like for photography these days (and parking/leaving the circuit for that matter)? I've heard it's very restrictive now as most locations have been blocked off due to previous incidents etc.
Does the Morgan and Marcos still run in the GTs? They were always my...
I've been saving my ass off for the forthcoming D300 and Nikon don't appear to have dissapointed, announced today and the spec is incredible, and the D3 is even more impressive...
Nikon D300 - £1299.99

Olympus gave me an E-400 for free and I sold it within a month or so :) In all seriousness though, as a standard DSLR I found it pretty good and the image quality from the kit lens was superb, I just couldn't cope with the handling (it was too small) and the choice of lens was quite restrictive...
"BTCC" and "Racing", not two words I would put together personally ;) Good fun to watch but the standard of driving is usually far better at club level.
Perhaps a more accurate statement from myself would have been...
"how many of these cars will ever have v-max recorded? Theoretical top speeds are all well and good, but until it's official it doesn't really matter. That Barabus TKR thing is supposed to be the quickest now, but as with so...
17s are big enough imo, how does it effect the handling? The bodykit is a little ott in my opinion, especially the rear spoiler. Not bad though, looks good for a kit but wouldn't be suitable as the original car from the factory.
Firstly, consider that every one of these photos was taken with the following camera...

...now look at the pics:

I was using the 80-200 yes, all of those bike shots are with a Nikon TCE-14 (1.4x) Teleconverter attached, and with that (280mm) it was still too short for bikes in most places.
I shoot motorsport using Shutter Priority, so on a sunny day shooting at 1/125 or thereabouts it balances out at...
Not sure what any of these are or what the hell was going on today really, but they were fast, a bit scary (some nasty crashes) and pretty loud. I think I was the only one there not in leathers, covered in tattoos or with my shirt off, but I enjoyed my first time taking pics of racing bikes...
Not really, imo. If you want a Polarizer then spend that money on a decent one, you won't regret it as it's one of the best things money can buy (apart from a 50mm 1.8!) and should last for years. I personally use Hoya (about £20) but there are much better still.
Cheap UV filters are a mixed...
Spotted Mr. Spaced driving a Liquid Yellow R27 along the road from Platinum to the Trading Estate on Tuesday morning (I think), taking it for a nice clean I assume?
Looked stunning anyhow.
I honestly can't see any difference with these Jap cars, infact I still can't see any difference between the original 'S15' posted and the R32 I posted!
I know a R32 is a Skyline but that's as far as my knowledge goes!
Personally I would go for Sandisk Ultra IIs if they are a bit cheaper, you won't use the extra speed of the Extreme IIIs. A few 2GBs is always safer imo, 4Gb is a lot of photos to lose.
They are pretty good but you may find yourself limited by lens choice a bit, the big two (Canon and Nikon) make life very easy as you get fantastic own-brand lens as well as virtually everything Sigma, Tamron and Tokina make, which keeps prices a bit lower when the inevitable lens upgrades come...
