And ended up with 23 Renaultsports. I couldn't stay for the whole event but managed to get a few quick photos, nothing spectacular. For those that don't recognise the locations, this is the Royal National Park, just south of Sydney, Australia!
Enjoy

Not to be a tw*t but you can still take good pics without a decent camera. It's about composition and content. A decent camera will just improve image quality, that's all.
^^^ yeh, there're only 2 LY 200 Trophees (special Aus name...) that I know of, plus 30 limited edition Aus Grand Prix versions in LY, gloss black roof, black bumpers and black speedlines.
They look so good in the sun!
Hi-res and unwatermarked available:

Forgot to add we had one ex-Clio owner who bought his new work car along, a 2010 Holden SS Ute, 100% standard with 350hp
He coudn't keep up around the corners, murdered us in a straight line, used literally twice as much fuel as most of us and got very sideways around most corners :cool...
There's over 250 photos here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/walkie86/sets/72157627913968008/

Sunday was the hillclimb event with about 15 Renaultsports entered (among 60 other cars). We performed quite well considering most cars are fairly standard and many haven't done hill climbs before - just goes to show what the cars are capable of straight out of the box! A few action shots...
We all parked up at the Renault dealership in Melrose, Canberra and had a good BBQ feed. We calculated 35 Renaultsports (excluding the dealer's cars)

I arrived at midnight on Friday after leaving Sydney at 6pm, and travelling in convoy with 2 197s, 2 182s and a Meg 250.

October 13-16 was the 5th annual Ozrenaultsport.com national meet, with participants from 4 states gathering for 4 days of driving alpine roads, a hillclimb event and lots of banter. The numbers peaked at the Saturday night BBQ with 35 Renaultsports gathered in Canberra for a social meet up...
I know what you mean, I want to like it but it's not quite there. As ssaid, carbon front diamond/washer blanks, loose the foglights and get some 15s. I think it needs to look more "racer" to pull off the carbon bonnet.
I do love those Superleggs though...
Hey Renepogel! Have you seen the Aussie forum? ozrenaultsport.com. Lots of local help there.
Car looks good but I'd loose the 17s. Also consider looking at some coilovers as eibachs on the stock 172 shocks can be a bit harsh, plus depending on the kms on your car the stockies might be shot...

Haha cheers mate. Well, your idea is simple and adds a little flavour to the front! Was also standing at the counter at the service station and spotted a 3-pack of electrical tape in the correct colours, so had to do it :rasp:
