Only had my car 3 weeks but keen to take lots of pics. Brought my mate and his white R27 along too
Each of these is 3-4 photos merged together and the cars were light painted with a high-powered LED torch. C+C welcome!
Hey guys,
New 197 owner from Sydney, Australia here. I'm not knew to the RS Clio seen, as I've got a 172 for track days and my previous car (which is currently for sale) is a 182 FF with cup suspension pack. I picked up a 2008 RS 197 in Albi Blue with 29k kms on it on Saturday! It's got a...
Mate looks good. Have a look on eBay for a stripe kit by Grafico here in Australia. He does a set which measurements & instructions etc that will allow you to fit them perfectly. They even come with the chequered ending, which finishes it off nicely
I guess it will look a bit like this (minus the wheels):

Cheers for the comments fellas.
Those wheels - when I first saw them in photos etc I thought they were vomit-inducingly ugly. Like, real bad. I tried to convince my mate to get the 18s but the way they do the Meganes over here it comes in 2 trims - Cup or Trophee. Cup gets black inserts, black...
Best mate's 250 = beast. This thing hammers and looks absolute pr0n. After 10 months of ownership he still gets people taking photos of it in the street!
So far mods are:
- Eibach springs
- K-Tec cat-back exhaust
- vinyl wrapped black badges
- RENAULTsport gear knob
Should be a couple more...
Car looks great but agree with Russ et al. Get used to track driving first before diving into the mods! Invest in some brake pads, tyres and driving instruction :approve:
Correct - we don't get anywhere near as much rust as you guys do. You can always tell a car that's been imported from the UK by how much rust it has ;)
The flags with the chequered ends were unique to Aus. On the F1 and LE editions that we got (mentioned in this thread) they came with them from factory like that. Since then a local graphics company has started making them in any colour you want, so there're a lot more phII Clios getting around...
Hey mate - you've got the Cup spoiler and of the 30 LEs there were 15 FRB and 15 Blood Orange (called Inferno in the UK). I saw on OZRS that you don't have a plaque so I would be 99% sure that yours is one of the LEs (unless someone put a Cup spoiler on it, which is pretty rare over here) .
Good first go with DSLR mate, they're looking nice and sharp. What gear are you using? You can tell you've got some natural talent as the wheels are facing the right way in each shot ;) nothing worse than a cracking pic with the wheel turned showing rubber instead of rim :(
Just keep playing...
