Epic Aussie drive - Tasmania, the island of uninhabited twisties

G'day fellas. A Tassie road trip has been on the cards for a while, but we finally put our ass into gear a few months back and booked some ferry tickets. Our group consists of all OZRS members with an Arctic Blue 182 Cup (me), Glacier White R27 (buddy), Megane 225 F1 Team (CHRIS-172), Lunar Grey...

    R27 ALBI BLUE

Nice. Wish we got these in Albi in Aus. IMO the Cup spoiler is gash. I'd go for the Ktec sprint one or the RS one on the Gordini

    Lightweight 182 track/road car (Page 6+)

Re: 182 track weapon attempt Looks good but not a fan of all the stickers you've got planned... couldn't imagine driving it on the road with all them, would have to trailer it to events! Definitely don't put the Clip Cup stickers on, but I don't mind the stripe and sunstrip. Also, if you're...

quick clean (repeat of clio197 forum thread)

Looks nice and clean but ditch the boot-lid Renault F1 sticker - looks really weird the one in the decals below :S Will look sweet with spacers though! Just noticed the rear wipers gone too - looks very smooth

    172 got some treatment!

Looks clean but would prefer anthracite wheels (and tyre shine) :rasp: Also, get rid of that soapy, dirt-hogging sponge and get yourself a micro-fibre wash mitt!

The Silver Bullet. 172 Project from Australia

Jeez, I've been a bit slack with the updates. Had a big year with final year of uni last year so didn't get to spend much time on the car or out to many track days :( Still managed to get a few mods done, and I'll throw up some photos of how the car looks now. Had a track day yesterday and...

Welcoming my mate's new R27 to the family

Fart-arsed around in the morning so didn't leave properly till about 10:30am and rolled back into home just after 10pm. Not bad considering we did some twisty roads in Victoria, but once we hit NSW it was just highway all the way. :boring:

Welcoming my mate's new R27 to the family

Currently $1.50 AUD per litre for PULP 98 (highest octane rating you can get in most places) so 0.926 GBP.

Welcoming my mate's new R27 to the family

Haha thanks for the comments! There are 10 white R27s in Aus, 10 yellow and 20 red. This is the way we went from Melbourne to Sydney (about 900kms): http://tinyurl.com/4cy7pvk The owner of the Meg F1 is currently selling his Flamer 172. The owner of the Meg 250 used to have an FRB 182 Cup...

Welcoming my mate's new R27 to the family

Convinced my mate he needed an RS in his life, not a GTI. So he bought a white R27 from Melbourne and we flew down on Saturday night and drove it home the fun way to Sydney on Sunday - only took 12 hours! Anyway, just grabbed a few quick pics of welcoming him to the RS family (all of us have...

Sydney Drive Day - 28.11.10 (56k go make a cuppa)

Hey fellas, Organised a drive day in Sydney weekend before last. Ended up with about 14 cars which was a decent turn out! Took in the usual highlights of the Royal National Park, Mt. Keira and Macquarie Pass south of Sydney and had a pie at lunch at Robertson. Was good to get out again and...

Mate, that is awesome! Looks super hot. Can you confirm which exhaust that is? I've seen it on a few cars and love the look if it but noone in Aus has one! :(

A new red baron. Pics of a 200.

Looks hot! But I would get the rear spoiler painted black too - looks a bit unfinished. Love the red though!

Hey lads and ladies. Just did this update on another forum and thought I'd post it here too: Just a few updates (been too busy lately :( ). Been on the track a few more times now. Still not timed on a dry day at Wakefield since the first one but got a 1:58.7 at Eastern Creek (2nd time...
