Get MOT in June 2012, say. Get 12 months tax immediately.
Tax reminder comes through in May 2013. Renew for 12 months.
Boom. No MOT required for June 2013 to June 2014.

Everyone says to get Valeo as above. TBH, i normally use them as they're £108 delivered. Might as well.
Saying that, I used a Sachs one in my Ph1 years back, did the job fine.
I'd steer clear of Transmech though.
Cost for a standard Valeo clutch in the UK is approx £120. Unless you're running BIG power, there's no need for anything more.

If you retime the old belt, you're asking for problems.
If you got the kit changed a couple of months ago, just get a new belt. If you just got the belt changed last time (unlikely) then replace the whole cb kit.
