Parked up at Olivers Mount presumably for the RAC Rally, or maybe the Nursing Home. One was a dark colour with rear spoiler. Other was bright blue, **07 CCF.
I found a place in Leeds once, going to have to try remember where it is, but was a bunch of abandoned houses, more like an abandoned street. Really good backdrop for some car photos I'd imagine.
If you Google Map "spring hill, adel, leeds" - this might be the right place.
By the way - that Ka is awesome! Can do stoppys (accelerate hard, then brake and lift both rear wheels off the ground).
Did anyone go to Croft on the Saturday of the last meeting? I was racing a Mini :)
Knowing very little about photography, but learning slowly; I'd say go for the D40, then at least that leaves you an extra £100 or so to play with on putting towards another lens, or some accessories.
I was at Croft on Friday for the Winter Series Testing. Managed to blag a media pass, was stood behind the barrier between Sunny Out and Complex In. If he'd have spun the other way, I'd have been legging it :)
This is elsewhere in another thread, but thought I'd post it in here too, since it is photography. Was trying to get used to the Nikon D40 and how different it was to my old bridge camera. Clio driver dropped a wheel over the kerb onto the wet grass, which pitched him into the following spin...
Cheers guys, I must have easily taken 1000 pics today; that is the only one that came out uniquely. Looking forward to the racing tomorrow, no camera tho. :dapprove:
with a bird driving, i'm sure the plate was FJ03 MXH - but askmid is reporting that as uninsured, so I can't be certain!
tidy looking, car seemed ok too ;)
So the two (three?) lads from here who were there, whose car was whose? I saw a Trophy with a numberplate that was made to look like TROPHY and a blue **03 BHP.
^^^ Agree with above.
I started marshalling in January - love it! Every benefit of being a spectator... plus: free entry, (usually) free food, closer to the action.
