I think 182's look small, light, nimble. I just think 197/200's look a bit, erm, bulky, in comparison. Don't get me wrong, I still like the look of 200's, I just don't know what it is, I just have that view of them in my head.
I had AP's on my A3 and for the money they were spot on. They're basically cheaper KW's so the quality is there. Rated highly in the VAG world for a decent 'budget' coilover. Not sure what they're like on the Clio platform however.
I've not driven one but from what I've read I just don't get 197/200's.
Being a bit better built and newer is literally the only positive I can see over a 182.
Now a megged 200, I would definitely have one of them.
Something id like to do on mine.
Sure I've asked you this before but is it easy to do? Are there any guides knocking around for changing bottle and putting new coolant in?
You talking about the back two mounts? If so, I don't know why people spend so much money on these Powerflex ones.
Admittedly a bit pikey but I used 2 sockets under one of the mounts and got the tips sitting EXACTLY how I wanted them for next to nothing.
V40 that I picked up cheap. Just to get me to work and back and to chuck the dog in the back. Got quite a bit to do on the Clio as well so will be nice being able to take my time and not have to rush to get it back on the road.
Absolutely love these.
Me and my other half dropped her Mini off for a service the other day and had to give the keys in at the BMW showroom in Wakefield. We had a look around and I fell in love with every M car in there. My other half appreciates nice cars, however she isn't massively into...
I was quite a bit ahead, just saw you coming down the slip road I think. Saw it was a non sport with a sport grill and kind of recognised the first part of your numberplate.
I was in the daily Lolvo :D
