Whan I put the standard seats and steering wheel back in mine it really showed up what a terrible job renault did of the driving position! That key was a good find👍.
LY tax is strong on the F1's. Personally I don't think the mk3 ly's deserve the same premium the mk2's do because there's so many more of them out there. This nimbus one has been for sale all year nearly and as 1 of 55 compared to 142 LY ones it's gotta be a better investment...
I spotted a black mitsubishi EVO 6 yesterday. Unfortunately it was sporting a chameleon tint on the windscreen and headlamps so needs to drive into a large body of water with the owner securely locked within.

Front suspension has been knocking for a few weeks so I've bought new shocks and top mounts. I'll probably sort the spare swivel hub I have for the drivers side and swap that at the same time.

You shouldn't be able to see the starter from above because the heat shield should be covering it. This is it from the drivers wheel arch (arch liner removed) and on the left is the exhaust manifold and the wiggly bit is the heat shield that is clipped between the starter motor and the solenoid.
Good to see it steadily becoming whole again. Hosepipe ban is a pain, although I gave my car a quick wash yesterday and got around it by using a "water outlet extension tube" instead of a hose😉.
What happened with the insurance claim, where did they place the blame?
