As far as I'm aware the blue/ polished wheels were an option so if they are in good condition I'd definitely be buying a second set to have done in a preferable shade.
Yeah I had my 200 booked in for belts etc doing last week and they rang me to say they couldn't find a dephaser anywhere and all the usual stockists were waiting on renault to deliver. I've no history so wanted the whole lot doing even though it runs smooth and is nice and quiet.
It'll be the full door loom that goes to the big black plug on the front edge of the door. There won't be any other connectors before there. It's not too bad a job to swap the whole door loom over though, just expect some cut arms!
Try googling mobile AC regas. I just did and found one with a review that said he'd changed valves and done loads of checks on an aircon. I'll be booking him Monday!
Of the cup packed 182's there's probably very few still on cup suspension anyway. Springs like to snap and aftermarket ones are cheaper and easier to get hold of and you can fit non cup or cup 172 dampers anyway. Similarly the cup splitter will mostlikely have perished years ago and been...
