is £79.30 a good price for 195/40/17s or should i just get 205/40s? the 195/40/17s actually have the same rolling radius as my current 195/45/16 and id like it to sit well on my cup with coilovers
i cant say to be honest mate, for some reason throttle response seems sharper and it certainly doesnt feel slower or like its getting too much air, im very very impressed with it, and it looks awesome (its huge)
i got mine for £150 off a mate it was like new
fitted very straight forwards, havent got round to fitting the cold air scoop yet still using the standard one...but im thinking of taking out a foglight and working it that way, but man it roars..such a hollow bark i cant stop driving my car now :) pick up a magnex system (twin 3.5") next...
does anyone have an opinion on these? they are fixed damping and height from 30-70 front 30-50 rear...can get them for £690 fitted from a local supplier.
hog1...check autotrader clios between 17k and 30k, theres a good 5 or 6 black golds on there, im sure jeremy said most of the last ones kicked out were illiad and black gold
why do these vary massively? is it cause people have no idea of their value? or is it cause they dont want to lose as much as they think they are going to.
heres 2 examples of mark 2 vees on autotrader at the moment..
May 2005 with 6k miles in illad blue..£19,900 ONO
2004 54 plate with 5k...
i posted this topic ages ago after i got my cup, i was sure it made a difference..however..after driving a mates v6, it definately overrides the speed limiter function
think they looked like turinis but cant be sure as i wa heading the opposite way down the motorway, looked very smart though, last night about 6 oclock
no abs, traction or air con on the 172 cup, its the most hardcore out of all the clios as even the 182 "cup" has air con and abs.
i got one after having a saxo VTR and the performance difference is huge, depends if you value your leather and air con much though, i can personally live without...
6 months till i get mine! :) im gladly moving on from my cup (before my licence moves on from me) the cup is so manic you drive it at 10/10ths all the time,
ive driven a vee (mk2) twice and the experience is exhillerating :D
2nd hand ones are aplenty, there are the same ones on autotrader as there were 2 months ago, just the prices keep dropping
in autocar mag this week at the back, theres a 04/54 reg, with 4k in back gold for £18950 ONO...walk up with 18k cash i think you wouldnt be walking home
no, i would keep the mk2 as is..i just think the mk1 needs a change of wheels anyways..the 17s look tiny in those arches, and i really loved that pheonix yellow one that someone owns on here, its just different cause the mk1s are all a mass of silver
i wanted a mk1 v6, then i started liking the mk2s and they seem an all round better car..but i saw this pic of one in hong kong..and i slightly photoshopped it, colour, front bumper grille and wheels..and im in love!

i do agree that silver was killed by the mk1 (probs why so few have been sold as its normally the most common colour for cars)
there was a pic on here a week or 2 ago of a vee in inferno...boy ws it smart!
