This one was busy! Mostly with @S24NRC and whoever the black 200 was...if you know who it is please tag them. Similarly the yellow Megane towards the end, that was rapid! What are they, 280 brake? 300?
This one features the delectable Mr @Cookie , bit of a dull session to watch though as I mostly had the track to myself. This was at 10:30 and the track was starting to dry nicely so I started pushing it a bit harder as I learned the circuit.
Here we are then, first video. Others will follow a bit quicker now I've got a template sorted.
This one had an Astra VXR, Megane 250/265/275, and an R26, and all of them handed me my ar$e 😁
I haven't got to them yet, but in those last two sessions there's plenty of yours s**king its way around, and the footage is way better later on when it's sunny.
Oh yes. No other failures apart from me not plugging in my lav mic on one session...which I'm sure some would say = great success.
The footage is really good Rob 😁
Editing update for anyone interested, I've just finished checking through and synchronising all nine sessions I had on track. First session of the day (slow, damp) featuring an Astra VXR I don't recall seeing on track again, and a yellow Megane RS that was just out of reach for me, should be up...
One for @Brigsy , remember that conversation we had about the rear right tyre not really gaining any pressure on track? ... I just came home to find this explanation for that on my driveway.
Mother-f***er.
The footage has come out looking spectacular, the sunshine beautifully highlighted your crumpled boot.
I should be done with editing Bedford in a day or two so I can soon get on with Anglesey...chronological vids will follow, hopefully by the end of the week.
I can't really say anything that hasn't already been said and I heartfeltly echo all of it.
Wales = awesome. Those that organised and made this happen = awesome.
I can't think of a better reason to whack 835 miles on the Cayman across 4 days, the roads/scenery, meeting multiple...
I'm good to go. Since Bedford 2 weeks ago it's been manic, I've had to check the coolant, the oil, and the tyre pressures but thankfully they were all ok. Phew.
Sleepover at my mates tonight before we head up tomorrow. Got my camera set up in a really good place. Can't wait.
Other than that...
I'm bringing some spare pads just in case the OEM Porsche ones wear a bit too thin. 8mm pad material at present so should be fine, but I want to use all the brakes so wear concerns can get to f**k. I'm bringing all I need to swap the pads except a trolley jack and an axle stand.
Hoping someone...
