Great read!
Nice job with the airbox resto and the heat gun trick on the seatbelt buttons.
They look so much nicer with the smaller plate on the front (y)
They were only £27.59 each at the end of August / September.
I ordered 4 at the same time when they had 0 in stock. They arrived a week later, 3 on 30Aug and 1 on 2nd Sept.
I've bought a set of these silver (Zinc) onces, I've not fitted them yet.

"These bolts promise to maintain their lustre, keeping your car looking pristine for years to come" I do hope so!
I got mine from BTT Motorsport for £16.95 but I don't think they do them anymore.
It looks exactly the same as this one and has been on the car for over a year with no issues.
If your car had a pre-cat lambda fault it would be driving horrible,
I've had a post-cat lambda sensor fault but it didn't effect how the car ran.
I wonder if you've got a hairline crack in your manifold? or you've been unlucky with crap lambda sensors?
The gearbox speedo sensor is a different sensor and plugs into the top of the gearbox.
You've got 2 Lambda sensors that plug into the exhaust - one before the cat (pre-cat) and one after the cat (post-cat)
I'm having similar issues with my Cup.
It was raining very heavy the other day and the speedo just dropped to 0 mph when I was doing about 30mph and then 30 seconds later is went back to normal.
I was wondering if the rain had some effect on it as it was raining heavy at the time.
I've read...
I cleaned the grill with IPA 99.9% and cotton pads until there was no dirt being lifted.
Then used cotton pads to apply the C4 with rubber gloves on.
You can do all the horizontal bits easily and then pinch the cotton pads either side of the vertical bits. Add a bit of masking tape in front...
I've used C4 on the upper grills and can recommend it. Just make sure its as clean as possible before applying and it doesn't get wet for about 12 hours so has time to bond. Once you apply it wait a few mins then lightly wipe with a microfibre cloth so it gets an even finish. It should last...

That forum link has the right Bosch model number to use.
I got mine from Ebay when they were doing a 20% off deal. I paid around £35 for it
I had one of those hoffman's exhausts before, very cheap it lasted about 3 years then the mid pipe rusted through and snapped. I bought another and it lasted less than 6months, the rear hanger snapped off the backbox. After that I decided to get the stainless Piper one.
I've got a twin resonated Piper exhaust and it's quieter than a stock one and only gets loud if you're flooring it.

I'm selling these if you're interested.
Simple can of compressed air will do the job.
If you sleep in the same room as your PC take it to another room or outside to clean otherwise you'll be sneezing all night.
