To do it properly, will be around £350-500.
that would be a repair of the arch and paint the whole wing and blend in to the door.
a cheap smart repair company could do it for less than £200 but I’m yet to see such a repair A) look good and B) last a long time.
yes you could repair it...
Late night last night doing some final checks and a quick drive to make sure I was actually selling a car that drives nicely... 🤦♂️😂
it needs the tracking doing and the gearbox oil changing as it’s a pig when cold but lovely once warmed up. But I’ll let the new owner explain why he won’t be...
Why can’t you use a standard dash? What the fascination with a fancy one?
unless I’ve been out for a particularly long stint and am conscious of fuel, I can’t recall ever looking at my dash on a track day. Wouldn’t see it through the red mist anyway.
fit an oil/water gauge, rev counter, USB...
Not to my knowledge.
If you want something bigger, have a look at the ‘cup racer’ spoilers.
or, be a bit original and see if you can find a lip spoiler from another car to bolt on top of that one.
I’d prefer it if he bought it. The money needs to go in to my kitchen renovation fund that I obliterated buying the Sierra and the VXR8. 😂😂
I’m not sure I can hold my wife off for much longer. “A couple of weeks and we can start looking dear!”
I’ve had about £400 in that account since I bought...
If I get there on Sunday and he doesn’t want it for any reason I genuinely won’t care. It can go to the back of the showroom and left there.
It’s funny, when it was in pieces I just wanted it gone but now it’s all clean and back together, it really won’t be a problem if I have to keep it. 😂
I think we’ve got another 12-24 months until they go mental price wise. There are very few nice ones left and people will be holding on to them until the prices go up, then they’ll end up like the 205’s and R5’s.
I bought this years ago and parked it in the unit and decided to forget all about it.
fast forward to Christmas time and my car collecting life changed direction and I decided to just sell it along with most of my ‘buy and forget’ collection. Only one left now (The Volvo) but I’m not selling...
Mine was a 63 plate, in black, done 70k with proper nice history and 2 owners lovely thing.
I put it up for £5995 and the phone nearly caught fire. Never had a response like that on a hot hatch before. Sold it for full asking price, over the phone, to a guy from London.
I don’t know how that sits with me.
I mean good on him for having the audacity to do what he did, but he’s effectively stolen a car.
would be epic if in 5 years time big Tyrone is released from Wormwood Scrubs, tracks him down and stoves his head in whilst taking his £15/20/30k or whatever he...
That’s Elliot’s. It was in the office at work (as in the vid) but the public are disrespectful c***s so he’s taken it home and put it in his spare room.
It’s absolutely superb.
My partners last track car always had NS2R’s on it. We both love them - not amazing but allow you to move the car around a lot. Great fun.
he then fitted 2 AR1’s to the front and within 5 laps it pulled the driveshaft out of the box.
back to work, gearbox refurb, two brand new driveshafts...
