Personally, for wear and tear items (the wishbones & dogbone) you're better buying new. For what they cost and for piece of mind its not something i'd personally skimp on.
Cannot really comment on the gearbox.

You can't do short journeys in them either, they do M3 mpg for less than 1*2 performance.
List of cons is pretty long! Supposedly a great chassis, why anyone would buy one over an s2000 escapes me. They're also mostly driven by complete cvnt artists...
I'm suprised people are so shocked at this. People spend absolutley thousands on turbo/supercharging/ITB modifications, take it to one track day and sell it - at a loss.
