Personally, for wear and tear items (the wishbones & dogbone) you're better buying new. For what they cost and for piece of mind its not something i'd personally skimp on. Cannot really comment on the gearbox.

Re: Why are Mazda RX8 so cheap?? As above. You can't do short journeys in them either, they do M3 mpg for less than 1*2 performance. List of cons is pretty long! Supposedly a great chassis, why anyone would buy one over an s2000 escapes me. They're also mostly driven by complete cvnt artists...

Replace them both. Last thing you want to do is throw a shaft, causing more damage and covering the track in gearbox oil.

I'd say its more likley that a Turbo charged car would benefit from higher octane fuels, not NA.

I'm suprised people are so shocked at this. People spend absolutley thousands on turbo/supercharging/ITB modifications, take it to one track day and sell it - at a loss. Shoot for the stars mate!
