You have to ask yourself why you'd want to take a punt on a performance hot hatch with no history when there are literally hundreads of examples for the same price with fsh/belts done. You'd be mad to do it.
In my experience, both are evenly matched. I find my Cup is slightly quicker due to the weight of the Ek9 (1091 kgs) compared to the Cup's 1021 kg's. Also, the Ek9's quoted 185 'bhp' is actually PS, so around 180ish at the fly (if its a good un').

Me too mate. I'd love nothing more than to throw a couple of grand into it but I've got a possible career change coming up with impending few grand worth of courses I need to pay for.
