I tend to use Bimmerforums (UK & US), e46fanatics, bmwowner, PH, m3forum.net & m3cutters for useful info, then e46zone if i want to laugh at badmanz mods.

I ran two cars for ages (330i/320d + Trophy) due to high work/commuting miles and in the end got fed up with simply being in the wrong car all the time. Even driving to a meeting, id find myself on an epic road, in the middle of nowhere, in the 320d. Now ive got the GP its good for work, cheap...
Just out of interest, why is it taking sooooooo long to do, is Fred not being paid any labour/doing it in between smoking/drinking/other peoples paying jobs or something? I've bought, owned, got bored of & sold 3 or 4 cars in the time yours has been at BTM lol.
Sorry, i meant that as he lives in Guernsey (not Jersey, slight typo), the dodgy previous owner of the 200 could fill out the forms to export the car from England on the 25th March (hence that date on HPI), then swiftly get a log book loan on the car prior to exporting it a few days later...
There is your problem.
When did you buy the car? If it was say 3-April-13, it could have had a logbook loan taken out against it whilst it was in Jersey, an area which is not covered by HPI's information. HPI info is only useful up until 25th March '13, after that, well anything could have...
Funnily enough, most non-car people love it, 'cool red mirrors, funky little boy racer mini' etc, a couple of my neighbours have also commented on it as they used to have normal MCS/Works' - whilst they're not really car people (most mini owners arent lol), they just know what it is. The...
The Bilstein B8s from the lower models will fit on the rear, but front im not so sure.
Was having this discussion with Nick the other day actually, i know the idea of the series is to take part, but it might get a little boring being hounded in the bends by Saxo/106/206/306's that can run the...
Went for a little drive with some Pistonheads guys on Sunday morning (prior to the Sunday Service at Rolls Royce) and was very very impressed with the car. Certainly didnt feel like anything needed modifying that's for certain, & i was able to keep pace with some rather more powerful machinery...
640d's are lovely, as above, some great deals on them floating around. £499 a month when they were launched iirc.
M5 is roughly the same at the moment.
