Spotted in the usual place for Renaultsport spots, the road heading down to Virgin Mobile HQ. Got a new private plate?
You probably won't have recognised me, I was in my new (old) Hyundai Coupe.
Will be good for normal shooting or for use in the Wii etc. Not great for firing off loads of shots using a big MP camera or DSLR though.
I've found the Sandisk Ultra II 1Gb to be the best balance between cost and speed (about £15)...and I don't like having more than 1Gb at a time in my...
I expect Renault will manage to 'do a 225' on it though and gradually turn it from a good car into an excellent car, that never had the greatest of starts but it appears to be doing well now.
People moan about the constant revisions, but when we get cars like the Trophy and Megane R26 it's...
- Burnout 3/4: Ruined by over complicating things, Burnout 2 was the peak of the series, the simple - no multiplier nonsense - crash junctions are superb.
- Gran Turismo 1/2/3/4: Appalling AI and I just generally dislike them, has got where it is by offering lots of cars and tracks, and not a...
When it was insanely thick with fog here a month or so ago front foglights made virtually no difference.
If they were genuinely useful then they would be a requirement like they are at the rear.
...and another today, this time with just fog lights and side lights on. Black 197 with a private plate. About 8:20am just leaving Trowbridge towards Yarnbrook.
Did numpties buy up all the first examples?!
Mario is a bit of an odd one, it's a PAL speed-adjusted version which came out much later than the original. Having played the original a lot I'm finding it quite tough to get to grips with, my timing is all out!
Got that, Gunstar Heroes, Sonic, DK Country, Bomberman 93 and R-Type (arcade...
Nope, thought it was at first but realised I've not used the new camera there yet, old one wasn't capable of that sharp a picture. Think it might be BluePete's, not really sure.
Sorry, Assistant was busy watching Snakes on a Plane hence the delay.
Did I make the grade for any of them? Looking at the quality of the above pics I'm assuming not, a bit stunning.
The beautiful assistant arrives...
Dan, you need to set up a new account (in the shop) for the shop, I got confused as well. I don't have a PayPal account, is there any other way of getting one?
I know how you feel, so close to shedding a tear when my Cup went in September.
If it's any consolation I still feel completely s**t about it now, 3 months later, so good luck with that ;) I even enjoyed the commute to work back then, now I avoid driving whenever possible.
Albi Blue 197, passing McDonalds in Trowbridge 2 or 3 days ago, then an Inferno 182 at Yarnbrook crossroads, can't remember when but again a day or so ago.
...and a, erm, Renaultsport Megane 230 Renault F1 Team R26 with Liquid Yellow Metallic Illusion i.d. and Paint and Roof and Bumper decals...
Got it, love it. So much fun sliding around.
In fact in Bournemouth yesterday I got to #1 on the high-score table, so if you ever go there and see "CHRS" on the table that be me!
I did 3 meets in my Cup there and never picked up a single mark. Just as likely to get stone chips on the road imo, and we only run one at a time so no chance of getting stones flicking up from other cars at you.
Re: Cliosport Calender 2007
I`m hoping we get to know as well. Already got 2 calendars this year but I would certainly get one if any of my pics have been used.
Took them normally with the D50 then converted them after. Not much point taking them in B&W directly with digital, all the camera is doing is removing the colour like you would in basic photo software.
James S: Yes it's the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth.
Laingo: Worringly the top one was framed precisely as I wanted it, and the middle two were focused intentionally precisely as you see them above, I'm guessing the "effect" (if there is one) doesn't appeal to you?
Cheers for the comments...
All of a sudden I've found myself going off in a particular direction with my photography, for no reason that I can put my finger on, and I'm slightly concerned as I have no concept of what is generally regarded as "right" or "wrong" in this area; I've hardly ever taken (or looked at) a B&W shot...
Nice shot. I tried a few more a while back but forgot to make sure I set absolutely everything manually, remembered most things but left it on Auto White Balance so it ended up being a disaster! Probably could have fixed it in Photoshop but I hae spending hours playing around with that.
P mode will balance shutter and aperture (which both effect the amount of light coming in) to give you a well exposed shot usually. In Shutter Priority or Aperture Priority the camera should theoretically balance it out regardless of how inconvenient that might be to you (e.g. an indoor shot at...
