On my work run I managed an easy 45-48mpg in my Cup without having to drive like a complete granny, figured I may as well save fuel as overtaking never got me anywhere during rush-hour. Just simple things like preparing for a roundabout and keeping a reasonable distance in traffic to reduce...
Nikon D200? Magnesium Alloy, 5fps, 10.2MP, ISO3200, 11 point AF ;)
Bomb-proof camera, I know I'm biased towards Nikon but it is at least worth considering, some very special Nikkor lenses out there at fairly reasonable prices, including some of the best primes money can buy.
...and my...
I'm sure I read a few weeks back that Play.com are officially the 3rd biggest seller of games software in the country, they can't be doing that badly :)
Certainly come along way since I first used them in 2000, on the one hand they were much better at customer service back then (they refunded...

Received: Dallas Season 4
Ordered: SanDisk Ultra II SD 2GB
Received: Sandisk 512MB PSP Memory Stick Pro Duo

That's the guy that drives with his side lights and fog lights on everywhere, I see him most days. Bloody bright, have a word!
His good taste in cars doesn't extend to good road manners sadly ;)
As JMR has detailed, achievable without photoshopping using the above technique, takes a bit of practice though! I've had a little play but not come up with anything great yet, so no example ;)
Various examples here though...

If it was colour coded I would at least understand what the owner is doing (although still not approve!), but black spoiler and light pod, and blue flaps on a bright orange car?!
Irish price was announced today, EUR630 for the 60Gb model. It's all but confirmed that it will be £425 in the UK, and we won't be getting the 20Gb model anytime soon, whilst they can fleece early adopters only the "Premium" 60Gb version will be available.
The good news Dave is that...
The smaller the aperture (e.g. f22) the more you get the 'starburst' effect on any bright light sources such as street lights etc. This pic is getting close to that so I would guess f16 (ish), that would need a slightly longer shutter time, at a guess...6-8 seconds maybe.
Here is one I shot a...
Yep, arrived on the 5th Jan, found a place in Wales that did next day delivery. I have knocked into a few things, kept getting closer to subjects and they still looked really far away, then bang, I'm actually touching the subject! I use the lens hood all the time now purely for safety reasons...
Sigma 10-20? I've been playing with mine a lot lately (in fact it's hard to take it off, great fun to play around with even for non-landscape stuff). It's quite amusing being about 15" from the numberplate taking a shot and then showing someone the picture on the LCD, they are always amazed that...

Obviously it doesn't actually look anything like a Trophy, just uses the exact same colour and has a similar style square foglight surround as the 172/182.
It's basically the version that privateers etc can buy, an off-the-shelf rally car essentially. 'R3' is the name of a rally class (like Super 1600, WRC etc)
Top stuff. Some Observations:
- Ride height of the Clio Cup/R3 is perfect.
- R3 proves that Turini's look so much nicer on the 197, don't like the new wheels personally. Same goes for the splitter actually, R3/standard one is soooo much nicer than the aftermarket Renault one.
In fact...
Driving along today, I glance in my rear view mirror and think 'ooooh, Trophy'.
Capsicum Red: Check
Body Coloured Bumpers: Check
Squared Off Fog Light Surround: Check
Then the missus looks back and says "it looks too high and not squat enough, it just doesn't look right", sure enough she...
