Nice work, how you finding the E-400? Just checked a few out at full size and they are looking good, it's harder than I thought going back to 6MP after using that one.
I love that kit lens, great quality.
Nice, best feeling getting a new car.
Really really unusual seeing that combo (standard wheels + Cup spoiler), I can't remember seeing many on the standard silver alloys here. They actually look quite nice.
Splitter will finish it off nicely, amazing how high they look without them. As for...
V6 will be a classic without a doubt, imo. In 15-20 years time will they be on display at shows and running as classics in Hill Climbs etc? Absolutely.
Williams is a bit different, a classic for sure but the majority have been used as daily runners and/or modified in some way, so I think good...
Forgot about it to be honest, prefer to wait and watch shows on DVD if I think I might like them. Production values for TV stuff are up there with film so I prefer no adverts / great picture+sound etc.
The only thing I miss at the moment is My Name is Earl, what the hell are Channel 4 playing...
Yep they all seem to be pretty good in that respect now. I've hit 1200 shots before needing a change. I just carry 2 batteries for the same reason I carry 4 memory cards, paranoid incase something breaks.
Ironically the only thing to ever fail has been the D50, and I don't (yet) have a spare!
I was about to say EOS-1D Mark III but then I read page two. Been researching serious cameras and this and the D2Xs came up quite a bit, huge investment but oh so tempting with the way things are going.
I found a review where they took a full-resolution shot of a crowd, the detail was unreal.
Amazing. Watching it at Prescott it was weird how steady it looked even though it was getting up the hill (very safely, obviously) as quick as 500bhp hill-climb special Evos right on the limit.
D50 was discontinued a while ago I believe, the D40 and D40x takes it's place.
As for differences...

In simple terms:
1) D40 doesn't...
This is the old Platinum Trowbridge demonstrator, I'm absolutely sure of it. Sat on their forecourt for about 6 months and hardly ever seemed to move.
The "Never been tracked" bit is confusing me though, as the guy who went on to buy that car came down to the airfield last year (it was on a...
Have you got the original Turinis? i.e. can you put it back to standard?
I got £6800 for mine last September (same age, mileage) and it was a pretty mint standard example with any mods thrown in alongside the original parts (Eibach Sportlines, Carbon Splitter, Strut Brace etc)
Finding a...
I intended to get a 350D, but after holding it I found it a bit small and less comfortable than the D50. After comparing them I also thought the D50s screen was miles better (and bigger). Personal preference really though, although if going down the Nikon route I would seriously get a D50...
D50 instead of D40X if you want to go down that route, £299 at Cameraworld, unbelievable price really.
Personally I've never felt lost with just a Sigma 10-20mm and 50mm f1.8. 10-20 is amazing for landscapes (and night shots), the 50mm is good for just about anything else (portraits, low...
Yeah I loved it, so much fun. Got back from watching Pirates at 12:30 and thought I would take a quick look, ended up going through them until 2:30 as I was so pleased with them :)
Freebone and Freebone Snr. introduced me to the world of motocross today. Despite having no interest in bikes whatsoever it was amazingly good fun, and as a bonus I had one of my most productive days photographing since I took up the hobby.

Fantastic price, when my E-400 goes I'm spending the money on getting a second D50 (so I dont have to change lens' so much), they really are that good!
That and a 50mm f1.8 comes to about £380, you then have the capability of getting very very professional images for less than some compact...
