I think any will be an improvement over my standard 117k miles ones that have never been changed.
Just didn't know whether to go Febi Kangoo or Febi Clio on the engine mount.
Maybe @bloke knows?
Rather than start a new thread, thought I'd ask in here.
Anyone know whether the Febi Kangoo mounts are stiffer than the Febi Clio ones?
I know it says a few posts up but I didn't know whether that was just OEM ones or all aftermarket ones.
No, I'm sure you went to someone local when you had some running problems? I'd go back in this thread and look but I'm at work and I can't be bothered haha.
When you next see him, ask him for a price on labour to fit an alternator and new aux belt as I think mine needs changing!
Love your videos, been watching them for what seems like ages now, when you first started and was going down to Stretton etc. You've come a long way since then.
Bet it feels good to be back in the Teg after such a long break. From an outsiders perspective, it seems like it was well needed...
I'm away on that date, and it's a few days before payday and I've got no money left so I probably wouldn't have been able to come anyway unfortunately :(
I shall see you all at CSF though :)
I'm wanting to put the cat back on, decat is annoying me now.
Would a flexi after the cat somewhere be enough to take the stress off the manifold? Or does it really need to be pre cat?
Hi all,
My manifold to cat joint has been blowing for ages now. I've fitted a brand new genuine kit, including ring, springs, bolts etc, got it all lined up bang on and its still blowing. Put some high temp sealant around which hasnt made a difference.
Fitted a decat as I thought it may be...
I got a quote from Yorvik Engineering in York who have a brilliant rep and they stated that they have all OEM Renault colours in powdercoat. I've read that factory colours can't be replicated with powdercoat so not sure if that's just sales patter or whether they just have a very good match.
Looks great with the coilovers and I bet it feels like a new car with all the bushes replaced.
Sorry if I've missed it but what size front plate did you go for if you can remember?
They're being done by LCS in Barnsley. £200 for a set of Turinis, that's with everything done including tyres on and off. Nothing but good reviews and not far from me, however @OssPoop had his done last week and wasn't massively impressed with the finish I don't think. That guy doing them did...
Thanks for all the replies.
Wheels are currently being powdercoated as when I contacted the company I'd dropped the wheels off he'd already had the tyres off and had fully stripped the wheels, so I couldn't really pick them up and take them elsewhere.
I've seen CAS Coatings and I know a few...
Clio looks ace on the 15's, shame that you're getting rid, the Megane isn't a bad car to replace it with though.
Defo get a thread up for the Megane, I love them, especially in Oyster Grey!
90mm look so much better, I'm just wondering whether to go 90 or 92 haha. How much of the recess is still showing? Got a closer up pic?
Looks great with the intercooler!
