I pick a pack up everytime I go to Costco, my other half thinks I have a problem as I've got stacks and stacks of them. Come in handy for loads of different jobs though including stuff around the house.
Although very anal, that's exactly the kind of service id want if I was getting a brand new car such as this.
Although I wouldn't be bothered about one or two extra miles ;)
I've just ordered some Carbon Collective Hybrid to use on my GF's Mini. Can make 5 litres from 500ml so will be using it on mine as well to top up the Collinite 845 that's on it at the moment.
Monaco Blue?
If so, sure he's selling it on that other clio facebook group and got laid into a bit about selling it with a big 'Fake Taxi' sticker on the back window.
Have a search on here, there's a few guides knocking about. I was going to do some f1's I've got but decided against it as I've only got a dusty garage to do them in and didn't want dust getting into the paint which, without a doubt, it would have done.
If you're wanting to do things on the cheap, I reckon you'll get away with prepping them yourself with rubbing them down and filling where necessary. Don't look to have any big chunks out of them so shouldn't be too bad of a job, although if you end up buying all the paint and spraying them...
Can tell you're excited for the car just by your breathing, thought it was Darth Vader filming for a while.
Nice car though, got it booked in for a new car detail to get it all sealed? That'd be the first thing id do if I got a new car.
Through all the frustration don't forget how far you've come with this Dannnnn. Just stumbled across this photo on my phone, think it was the first time we met over 2 years ago. Such a different car now!
Raise the front up a touch and that'll be bang on.
My only gripe when I had them on my A3 was that the rears didn't quite go low enough, but in hindsight I could have just removed the adjuster which I never realised at the time.
Well my exhaust is drooping in the middle so I just wanted an extra set of hands to hold it all up when tightening it together to take the droop out.
When we arrange to do it, I'll let you know if you want and you can pop round if you're free for a chin wag and what not.
Sweet, that seems like the way to go then and they're only just over £20 off CP4L.
Have you guys copper greased the backs and ends or just banged them in?
I've painted the back but not done the fronts, that's a job for the weekend. Last year I cleaned them all out and got all the muck out from under the shims and made sure everything was moving freely but it didn't help things.
I've got a decat to go on, just awaiting Dan's next trip to back to...
Be a shame to get new pads as they've stuff got a lot of life left in them. May just try some Pagid ones from ECP as they've got 30% off at the min so at least I can rule out whether it's the pads of not, I assume it is though.
I lived with the noise all last summer but it's proper bugging me now.
Hi all,
Since the weathers got warmer, my brakes seem to have taken a liking to squeaking every time I brake. This happened last year when the weather was warm and tried a couple of things but never got to the bottom of it.
I've copper greased every part of the pad the comes into contact with...
I just thought it might speed things up if I can just do one continuous spray and just keep moving quickly over the car as to not use too much but get a nice coverage. I won't get one if it's going to use loads as I know these kind of products don't require heavy application.
Or what about one...
I don't see many either and I work in Morley and go back and forth to Gildersome a few times a day.
There was a Blue 182 behind me coming off Tingley roundabout yesterday. Put my foot down off the lights and he kept up with me, didn't look to interested as I gave him a nod as he went passed.
Sooooo, I decided to get some Carbon Collective Hybrid which is similar to Hydr02 and WetCoat. It comes in a 500ml and is diluted 1:10 so will make 5L of product.
I'm just wondering if anyone has used one of these rather than a little crappy spray bottle? Thinking it may speed up the process a...
