Well I wont be able to get on the private drive yet, I need to contact them and politely ask :)
The place near Daglingworth is where I did this shot:
I think I'll be able to get a killer shot like that, with the other car chasing.
OR....the quiet lane near Cutsdean. I've been up there and it...
Thanks, it was a pretty rushed 'shoot', hopefully soon we'll get a proper one organised. And a rig session too :)
You should try keeping up with them! I thought I was in the wrong gear most of the time!!
Well I've got two good locations for rig stuff, with a possible third (which would be the best but it's someones farm driveway lol!)
Just FYI, one's near Daglingworth, and the other is near Cutsdean. I'd be up for a go next weekend if you two are about in the daytime? Or the w/e after that :)
Nothing majorly special this time, just a very quick mess about shoot with Dave and Adey, with their SC Clios.
Yes the location is pretty naff, but as usual we were struggling for places to go (anyone in this area know any decent places?!) and it started to rain as soon as we got here too :(...
Today I stumbled on a neat little bit of software that tells you which graphics mode you are in, ie. integrated or discrete ('external' card).
More than that, you can use the program to force the MBP to use only one of these options, so if you're on battery you can force it to stay on the...
Ok, how much are we talking for AC removal then? (roughly)
I will look into cages soon I hope. Pete - I don't know the first thing about welding, so unfortunately I'll be paying someone to do it :(
Another thing, I'll ask this here as I won;t make another thread.
What exactly is involved in taking the AC off/out? I think I need a 172 cup alternator, but what else? Big job?
Right, as I've currently got buckets and harnesses, a cage is the obvious next step - as I'm doing more and more trackdays too.
I'm looking to do it properly, none of this show cage s**t. It doesn't have to be a proper climbing frame, but still decent enough to do the job (heaven forbid!)...
I think the Nikon is the D3100, not sure what the Canon equiv is. Just look at WarehouseExpress.com as a guide for pricing and specs.
Camerapricebuster.com is also another good site.
RAW is just another format that you save the images in. JPEG is the most common, so you will definitely have that. A lot of point and shoot cameras wont capture in RAW, simply because most 'normal' people who just want to take a few snaps on holiday won't have the foggyist idea of what to do...
Yes you'll be able to get the entry level SLR with a standard kit lens for that, just.
Just have a play with both, read the reviews online etc....then decide.
lol, nah Dan's fine ;)
Ummm....well. I guess from experience mostly. I know that sounds really clichéd, but that's the best way to learn in photography.
This is no disrespect to anyone on here, but some of my early 'shoots' looked similar to that of photos on here. But that's great for those...
