Few more from a stroll near the hotel today....wasn't up for doing much...pretty knackered if I'm honest :(
Now I'm hungry.....so off to one of the restaurants......:)
Thanks!
Not much post processing at all. The black and white shots were obviously converted, but most other shots have some re-cropping to adjust horizon etc.
The last shot of the mosque had a bit of editing in RAW to bring out detail in the darker mosque itself.
I found the name of the guy to send the pics to, the artisitc editor I think. Then just sent my CD in.
They got back to me saying they want to use xxx prints, and this is the price they want to pay. Took ages to get the money through, but it always does I think.
The next time I send photos in...
^ In a nutshell.
Experience. I made most of my money from photography through magazines. I went to drift events and submitted my shots to the Redline. I wasn't even their main photographer, just some rookie. But I sent my photos in, and they used more of my photos than their tog! If you have...
Abu Dhabi or Ferrari World? ;)
Abu Dhabi is alright.....don't think I would come here on holiday though. Not much to do. Desert ride, shopping, sun bath, more shopping......that's about it!
Second trip to Abu Dhabi.....I'll let the pics do the talking.
More info on blog if you wanna read more on it, I won't clog it up here. http://www.danfreemanphotography.com/2011/03/abu-dhabi-re-visit/
Had to visit here....despite my hatred of Ferrari!
This thing is...
There ya go:
And these aren't even my track wheels! That was the result of having them fitted for a week (normal road use) and a few laps on track at Llandow when it was stupid wet (track wheels have 888s on atm ;))
The second photo looks like it was taken BEFORE I washed them, but that...
lol passed it too ;)
I'm starting to see the slight 'downsides' to these pads! Just washed the car....the insides of my lovely pro race 1.2s are orange.....and there's loads of orange spots down the sides of the car too.
It will shift, but it takes a bit of elbow grease....not sure what to use...
LOL! I always laughed when I came up to this car on track (in a good way!)
You were certainly giving it hell in the corners, I did worry it was going to roll on a few occasions!
Glad people find it useful, that was just my honest opinion from a typical 'switcher'.
I've still had no complaints with it....and I've just ordered the 8GB RAM kit, as I'm struggling a bit when editing 1080p videos and multiple RAW photos in photoshop.
Shamelessly stolen from my blog, but I thought I'd share my thoughts on my first Mac experience.
As many of you know, I didn't have the smoothest start to this! But this is what I've thought from then....
You can read it here, or it is better laid out on my blog page...
Well it's pretty much confirmed that the new major features are:
Quad Core processors
AMD graphics
Light Peak or Thunderbolt
As a result, I am not gutted in the slightest that I bought my MBP in December. Which is a relief, as I was worried that I would miss out on a big new update!
