Constantly tidying up pics and trying new things and I've finally got around to some of the airfield pictures (had well over 1000 to go through so it was always going to take some time, a few of these go back to October 05!)
Anyhows...only changes from original image are hours of messing with...
For a 1.2 16V?! Christ I can nearly hit 50mpg in my 172 Cup! Think I could get 60mpg+ out of my 1.2 16V without trying too hard (average was about 45mpg), and I don't drive like a complete granny either.
A lot of VTRs/VTSs I see for sale are on 100k without too many problems, so no reason why any Clio should struggle to go beyond 150k or more surely? If how my Cup has improved from a year ago at 8k to now at 24k continues at a similar rate it will be even more of a joy to drive when the miles...
Here is my best (or worse, depending how you look at it!), after about 300 miles over one week (no motorways). Actually nearer to 45mpg when working it out properly with fuel useage, still pretty good though!
Think I got around 15mpg at the Airfield, by far my best (worse!)
Rich, have you considered using a filter to reduce glare and too much brightness on a day like yesterday? Without wishing to be overly-critical I notice you have a lot of burnt out areas on the side-on panning shots, exactly the same as I was experiencing. I'm not really sure what to look out...
Gutted I missed the Meggy on track, trying to talk the missus into getting a Megane Trophy (Orange Focus ST-2 is the current line of thought from her) and after seeing the F1 parked up she was getting there, seeing it on track would have been better though!
I've figured out most of your locations but where is this? I can't think of anywhere that low! Judging by the powerlines it's heading up Avon Rise maybe?
We were there from 10am and despite taking the proper precautions the missus was burnt quite a bit by early afternoon, we left at about 3pm so missed the K-Tec and Megane F1 on track.
Loads of spins at Quarry though, all good fun!
Ferrari P4. It's a replica, the few orginals are worth over £5m! I believe this one was running a very topical engine for this site, a Renault V6! I think they have a lot of Renault components actually.
It was going well, although the Williams was the car keeping the more powerful metal honest...although he is a CC regular. No effects used on any of the pics, all straight from camera (apart from obviously the colour change on the old effect one)
