Weekend update Lift and main pump wired up, went a bit overkill with the wiring possibly, 2x 40amp relays and 6mm wiring for main pump, but should be more than adequate. Also wired up stack fuel gauge and pikey temporary calibrated the dash with an old sender. Relays fitted in cubby hole on...

    Silver 182 - 172 cup spec

Ive never been keen on the spacers with nothing to hold them in place apart from the bolts. What grade were the bolts used? Could always add a sleeve inside to take the load off the bolts.

    Graham's OCD ph3 DCi sport rep v2

Looks spot on for a daily driver. These k9k do seem to be chase the oil leak, my turbo oil feed weeps ever so slightly even with the o ring in the right place.

Great updates, looks spot on. The 225 you were pushing at Croft is my mates, i believe he had 270hp at that point and he does not hang about. I bet the lad in the golf had brown marks in his pants after sideways at Hawthorne, not much run off there

Might stick a bag on it Oem downpipe to block bracket modified to fit the downpipe. Started fitting the an10 breather setup. Braided hose cut and stab time once again...

    Daily dci

Small update Checked the tyres on the blue dci as handling was pure understeer, and noticed the Linglong gallopalong shite tyre that was on the passenger side was just above the wear bar. Drivers side still had 6mm or so, but another no brand so stuck a new pair of Michelin energy savers on...

Stack dash in and wired with the leds fitted for necessary warning lights. Hours of cable routing and tidying up old wiring, still need to fix the carbon panel in solid, but another job somewhere near and very pleased with the final result :) Might even make CSF yet;)

Few more bits done yesterday, shafts refitted, pms shifter linkage fitted, alternator cleaned up and refitted. Seems to take an age to get the little bits cleaned up and done, but slow and steady wins the race i guess. Mapping booked at Efi for late May so best crack on and get it done...

Treating rust in hard to reach area...wheel arch.

I think most rust jobs fail as not cleaned up properly, you need to clean the metal up so there is no pits at all, and deox gel does it really well, but its the waiting game. I would personally take all the arch liner out, or wing off if needs be to do it right to get the back

Treating rust in hard to reach area...wheel arch.

Take the paint off until back to good metal, then keep coating it with BH deox gel until the metal is totally shiny with no pits, will need to do the inside of the wing too. Once you have achieved that, zinc or epoxy primer on all prepared surfaces, followed by top coat.

Had planned on fitting the engine back in last weekend, but as usual did not go to plan. Dragged everything outside, borrowed my mates engine crane, set up crane to get the engine off the stand, and the ram had a hissy fit and would not go up high enough to get the engine off the stand. Engine...

    Kangoo Compact (aka Racevan3)

Small update, was advised 197 clocks went straight in, so bought a cheap set and fitted and working. @YorkshireKyle has found me a set of driveshafts too, so wont have any excuses not to start pulling my finger out and getting the engine in

Vortex mapp torch gets the vote from me, they are great. The mapp flame is a bit hotter than your average blowtorch, which can help in some situations.

    Where to buy lambda?

Quick screengrab of a bit of the workshop manual. I too had people saying its not worth doing etc, but my 172 engine Kangoo idled a lot smoother than most, and mpg on cruise was always absolutely great.

    Where to buy lambda?

Batt disconnect does not clear the adaptive settings. I had issues when replacing ecu and uch from another 172, throttle response was s**t, so had to reset it for good running.
