I was quite surprised how long my 888s are lasting too. Full day at Oulton and there was only a bit less tread. If you monitor the pressures etc and look after them properly they should be ok. And as said, in the wet they were brilliant! People who say 888s dont work in the wet are chatting...

I wouldnt have thought theres a staggering difference between the two, but I've only used 888s. And the difference between them and road tyres is staggering!

If you're doing trackdays then 888s or A048s are your best bet. I run second hand 888s at the moment. Nothing wrong with doing trackdays on road tyres though. RS2s are meant to be a good road/track tyre.

Nah it wont change that at all. And you shouldnt eat your tyres anyway. I've got -3 degrees on the front with my coilies and havent really noticed any massive wear.

^Get a tripod - most important thing for long exposures! Shoot in RAW so you can fix/alter the white balance in post.

I had sportline and liked them very much. Although I think the saying is , sport for show - pro for go. They quite often come up here second hand, so keep and eye out, or do a wanted of them.

Just get a set of Eibach springs on the standard suspension. I loved that on my car for road use, but on track it didnt quite cut it, but as you wont be on track, coilies are not essential. The KTEC cheap stuff is just for people who want to lower their car for looks with no regard to handling.

Really? 36mm isnt very wide at all. So I thought that would be pretty limited indoors. It seems more of a focal length for landscape work to me.
