Im happier at the moment, but I have another review in January.
Never thought about a calendar - tbh I dont do enough with my photos, I printed a load of from photobox about 4 months ago. They're still sitting in the package in my room :(
^lol at least that would give me something to do! ;)
I think the year total will be 112. But that includes days travelling out/in too, so not quite as bad.
You wouldnt want to trust me.
106 days out of the country this year so far, and lost count how many flights. Just think of all that waiting and boredom :(
Nikon D3 and 24-70mm lens. I do training on forensic equipment.
Lol Tony, off to Kosovo sunday for 5 days, then thats it for 2010. But next year is looking even more busy.
Not long been back from Israel. Now I'm just chilling all day waiting for our staff xmas party tonight :)
Pretty cool place there, shame I didnt have longer to look around :(
More pics on my blog too: http://www.danfreemanphotography.com/2010/12/tel-aviv/

Bullseye! That was the biggest thing (read mistake!) that I learnt from the day with the M3 and 172.
For example:
In this photo, the ceiling light is almost dominating the lighting from my 'torch'
But here the light is on the otherside of the car, so the lighting is mainly from the...
Its a pretty powerful lightsource. Its actually a crime scene examination lightsource used for forensics. It's got 16 5W LEDs, so around 80W total.
But it's been specifically designed to give a nice even light, with none of the focusing ring shadows you see in torches.
I'm borrowing it from...
Hi J,
That shot of Dave's 172 was using two 500W flashes. You can see where abouts they were placed due to the light on the ground. As Nick said, you can use a second exposure for the background, but I didnt do that for this shot as I was happy with the background lighting with just the two...
ASTs are fine on the road for me, yes a bit hard but what do you expect.
Simply awesome on the track though (mine are set up properly too!)
Cant comment on the KWs though, although I've heard they are very good too.
^haha yeh I know what you mean ;)
I hate bumping the saturation etc up on landscape photos, as you're making something it wasn't (if you know what I mean!)
It wasn't the most vivid sunset ever, which you can probably tell from the photos - oh well.....next time!
Another visit to Dunraven Bay, my god was it cold standing on a beach for 2.5 hours! Hope it was worth it though ;)

Cool. Will give it a go. I've just seen warehouse express is on there too, shame as I just spent £2.5k+ with them yesterday for work!! Gutted :(
lol.....I'll ask my dad if he'll chip in ;)
Also, you dont have to worry about starting it up shutting down etc, I imagine they last a long time on standby?
Whats the battery life like too just out of curiosity?
I'm looking for a present for my Mum, her computer (my old one!) is on the way out and in need of a refresh.
So.....either cheap laptop?
or...iPad?
Now, my Mum isnt technically brilliant at all, she can just about work a computer! So is an iPad a sensible option for her? She mainly...
