Wait what? It's a UK car that's been exported and converted? Or hasn't been officially exported yet?
It's last mot here was December 2018 at 37887 miles. No major faults on any of its Mot tests here. Looks like it left the UK sometime in 2019 as there's no records then.

Bloody torx screws are s**t when brand new never mind after rusting for 16 years. Here's a couple I removed the other day.
Slotted with a slitting disk and used a big screwdriver to undo them😆. That reminds me, I need to order normal bolts to replace them!
Looks like a nice car. Cam belt is every 5 years and aux belt is every 3 as far as I recall. I doubt many aux belts in use are under 3 years old and it's that snapping that usually kills the cam belt. At 5 years old I'd be doing them ASAP.
I managed to drill a 10mm hole through a chunk of angle iron with a cheap ass b&q drill I've had 20 years. Pilot drilled 4mm and tickled it up on an angle grinder. Ran it slow and used a bit of WD40 for lube and it went through easy. As you can see it cut nicely with no vibration or chatter and...
Ohh tell him to take some pics! I wouldn't mind if I'd abused it but it's been lovingly caressed during my ownership. Well, except for the lack of fresh oil in the 50k miles I've done 🙄🤣.
I started to de rust a few parts yesterday with a wire brush in the grinder.
I started the wishbones too but by then most of the wires were stuck in me rather than the brush. It actually worked better with just stubble😂.
I need to finish up the wishbones and make a start on the hubs. And I...
Finally dragged the gearbox out the other day. I thought I'd got all the bolts out but I'd missed the nut at the front as it's hidden behind a radiator hose and it was absolutely covered in muck. So much so that I couldn't see it at all!
Yeah bit grotty that. It's away now to see if it's...
I wonder if 20 years ago they thought every other vehicle that a clio could crash into would be nearly 2 tonnes?
I wonder if @jesus managed to avoid smashing and burning his clio or if he's been resurrected afterwards?
We use a prep/ painter at work but I'd probably be waiting months for them to be sent out! A bit of wire wheel and deox should suffice and I can take them to work to press the bearings.
Did they sell very many over there? I know a few over here have been bought and exported by french buyers but now they are getting rarer here and prices are creeping up I doubt it's as econimical as it was.
While fighting my way to the geabox Ive removed my hubs and my god they are crusty! One of the bearings is very rough too so looks like an over haul is in order. So deox bath with the berings still in is ok? I think I'll just buy new drive flanges rather than fook about cleaning theose up. SOme...
