My mate who i work with has a friend who works at renault so he said he can get one at trade price, is it not recommended to just replace one? or is both springs recommended to replace

Car went in a week or so ago to renault for some minor work, while they they checked the car over they noticed the passenger side spring had lost a small piece of metal at the top of the spring, so im going to buy one from renault to get the broken one replaced, if anyone can clarify...

its a 53 reg, this car has been on pistonheads before for quite a few month and it never sold and now its back on, for that spec and that price it should have been snapped up when it was first put on, id just be a bit...
Ive been reading a few reviews on here for the ktec uprated mounts, there are some big positives but the negative what would irratate me is the cabin vibration, i just done want my car to feel ilike a washing machine lol are you currently using the powerflex bushes with the original renault...
If i can remember when giving it some the gear stick doesnt waggle at all, and even when idling the car is silent with no vibration, so it must be the top engine mounts then, are the engine mounts a reanult job or a diy job?

Oh god i dont want extra cabin vibrations i want no vibrations lol so is the lower engine mount the dogbone mount which is the one which causes the problem? Are the renault mounts expensive to buy and install?

Have you replace yours with the ktec uprated ones or just normal renault ones? had a look at the ktec mounts and there quite expensive, is there a quick fix to this problem or do i have to bite the bullet and buy ktecs uprated ones
Thanks :) i was thinking its could be the engine mounts, after reading that post then im sure 100% is it the engine mounts. What happens if i just leave the existing engine mounts? any dangers?

Just wondered if anyone could help me out with a slight problem i have on my 172 cup, when accelerating quite hard in 1st theres a knocking/vibrating sound which comes in around 4k revs and lasts till about 5k revs then it stops, it happens ever so slightly when changing into 2nd but...
I have a 26k cup at the moment what i bought a few month back, i paid top price for it privately 5.5k, but it came with brand new tyres, new discs pads e.t.c, its in showroom condition so i didnt mind paying that price, yours should be fetching around 5k
Thanks, lots of the pictures have been removed though, its looked complicated to do lol im not mechanic and dont trust myself doing a thing like that, maybe i best take it to a dealer when i get them done

Has anyone ordered or had matched inlets done from ktec? im going to get them done after new year but i need to order them from there website on an exchange basis, just wanted to know how easy are the original inlets to remove, is it a job i could do or is a mechanic required

I live in cleveland which is north east, ive worked in leeds quite alot and ive been to rstuning before with a friend of mine, so am i right in saying the rsport ecu are no longer available? and that they cant be tranfered to another car

Does anyone know of any tuners in the cleveland area which is north east uk? i used to work in leeds and i know there is a tuning specialist there which i think is called queen service station, any help would be much appreciated
So £280 plus kit should come to around £450, i got quoted £498 so its not that far off, think im gonna buy original renault parts from a dealer off here then get reanult to fit them, when i first got the quote they said it would be £650!! but they said they can do it for £498 because of the age...
