Ive owned a corsa vxr and i loved it, stage 1 with remus exhaust kicking out around 225bhp, was very quick! and with all cars they have issues, wheel bearings, cracked radiators and the dreaded piston 4 issue
But since changing to my 172 cup ive never regretted it one bit, the clio has more...
The jms setup doesnt require no brackets it just fits nice and tight, and you remove all the cold air feeds from the original setup, the intake hole on the airbox is purely where all the air goes into, dont run any caf's into the hole
I have 205/45/16 on my car now, look good and the little extra wideness gives a little rubber protection on the alloys, so less chance of curbing a wheel, there fairly cheap to, camskill and blackcircles do pirelli p zero neros for £70 each
The bottom inlet are the same yes but the top inlet (plenum) is different, the 182 had an extra air intake hole compared to the 172, also the back bolt holes on the pleum are different so if you try to put a 182 plenum on your 172 the bolt holes will not match up
My car at rstuning ran peak power of 171.8bhp, thats with apd matched inlets, jms induction setup and rstuning remap, pulls very well, so if you get anything around the 170bhp you should be very happy
You cant miss double time lol working all this weekend coming up to, spending money for the F1 ;), hope you get your finger out in 2 weeks time at hutchies, i know your a dab hand at fixing cars :rasp:
When you mean port the inlet im guessing you mean inlets matching, ive had a remap done at rstuning and i asked paul weather he offers inlet matching and he doesnt, so maybe you misunderstood or hes started to supply matched inlets, whatever you decide still go to rstuning, paul is a genius!
Ive only purchased things from them, but alot of people have had work done from themselves, like i said and what DMS said there an excellent tuner and all the reviews on here back it up, ignore the idiots on saxperience, people will be shocked to hear you saying there a crap firm
Is it from the saxperience forum by any chance? if you read through it, all the 24 pages of garbage he does state the top end went which he supplied, so not really ktecs fault
Read the reviews on here mate, all positive, like i said there a very reputable company so i wudnt imagine there gonna produce bad workmanship
Link of car forum?
Where did you get this information from?, i dont think ive heard or seen a bad review against ktec, i think they are the biggest renault tuning company, correct me if im wrong , so they must be doing something right
