Ordered some bits from Renault which arrived today.
Crank shaft oil seal, gearbox 5th gear cover and seal. Also pinched the proper Renault tool for doing the crank seal from a renault tech i know while I was there.

Nice report sonny. Just a thought but with so many gen90's around it might be beneficial to try some else's ecu with your map on it and try and rule out the hardware side at least.

Yeah I know that now mate, shame I didn't know before. I've definitely fitted it too deep when looking at my spare engine. I've ordered another (genuine) seal and have pinched the proper tool from my Renault tech friend so take 2 coming this week!

Glad the car went well James. Seems to go well but were you short shifting? Didn't sound like you were using all the revs but might be because it's charged that it seems that way, not sand bagging were ya! ;)

Tested at Oulton and then Raced it at Rockingham mate and it was far better than it's ever been, I'd say it's probably on the slack side now but it's a lot more user friendly and far easier to find gears, no missed gears this time!

Well seen as in supposed to be racing next week at thruxton I suppose I should put the car back together. It's Sunday 16.43pm and this is how it sits, best get cracked on!

Gave the Ph1 a good clean today and it's come up really nicely. Still needs a good clay and polish but it's getting there.
Restored the headlights as they were looking a bit yellow too.
Spent some time under the bonnet as I like the engine bay to be tidy.

What happened yesterday James? Turned up during qualifying to see you pulling off in a big cloud of smoke and obviously didn't make the race. Looked all around the paddock but couldn't see you so never got a chance for a chat. Would of been nice to see it race even though I don't agree with it...
