Had a small South Wales meet today and after I took the opportunity to have a quick look round the Brecon Beacons, what a place! Certainly some potential for good meets in the area, lots of places to get photos and some amazing roads, and I'm sure there are many more members in that area who...
Renault should get you to do the press shots, somehow it looks unbelieavably good compared to the original shots.
Firstly the interior is stunning, fair play to Renault for finally getting this right. The seats look way too high though, hope driving position is ok.
Secondly the exterior...
Thats a real one in my pic above, they sound awesome!
No kits iirc, they basically have no relation to the Megane apart from looking similar, so a kit would be highly unlikely.
Yep the Cup has been posted before, its the replacement to the current model used in the various Clio race series around the world. I think it comes into use in the UK next season.
The Trophy is used in the Renault World Series, they raced at Donington last September, just a silhouette...
Got one that I took at RWS 05 below, I think I spotted it in a recent track day thread in the media section too, Donington maybe?
Hi-res here: http://chrisharrison.smugmug.com/photos/69359336-O.jpg
Good job you never ordered recently then, apparently Eibach UK don't have any anymore, I've heard anything from 4 weeks to August for any to turn up in the country!
Yes I am, heading up with Sarah (Liquid Yellow 182) from Bristol, going to try and clean the car later today if the weather holds out...I'm guessing there will be some great photo opportunities if we head up towards Brecon as has been mentioned.
Direct Choice, probably find out they are a bunch of cowboys now I've mentioned them! Did plenty of Google searching and couldn't find any dirt though! Elephant wanted about £500, I've got 6 yrs NCB and Pass Plus, and adding my missus (a teacher) always saves about £80.
Annoyingly if I lived...
I agree with some of the above comments regarding service, I got my new pads through GDI and they are one of the most helpful and friendly companies I've had the pleasure of using, a few extra pence for service like that is well worth it imo.
Not going into details but I've used other...
S25 CUP has been part of the Harrison family for one year now, so I thought I'd share some highlights!
The first pic, lacking a splitter and new bulbs, and having covered 8,400 miles...
As it is now, carbon splitter, Osram's all round, ITG panel filter and Justmatz, having covered 22,250...
Quality, if I went that far I'd end up getting the calipers done, then probably the wheels, and the Renault badges...fair play for keeping it simple, looks great!
Quite tempted to get some PH-SLOW ones made up now for my Cup for FCS! Whats the name of the font? ;)
Here's my contribution from the archives anyway,
Acrebo and Rob669...
Rob669 on track...
and Danlp6 on track...
Went for a drive early Sunday morning, picked this little lot up in 90 minutes driving...

I'm sure its that bloody Chemical Guys wash I'm using (has a nice smell to it), never had this problem in previous years!
Great driving...
Around 2200 172 Cups (about 2000 now left iirc), 501 Trophy's, 350 182 Cups and over 5000 182s.
Not exactly sure but they are roughly in the right area.
A line-up of a good standard example of each car would be great, I've not seen anything like that before.
Otherwise just getting the cars grouped together would be a priority personally, would be great to see all the Trophy's, Willy's, Cups etc each together, would look really effective.
I just checked how many I have of mine out of interest, 437 taken in the last 362 days, bit scary!
Add to that just over 1700 pics from all the Cliosport events I've attended since September 2005 of other Clio's from here...I'm watching you!
It's not just me then! Haven't had a CD in my car for about 6 months now, never have I enjoyed driving in silence (from a radio/music perspective) so much.
On the plus side Oms, the interior is bloody lovely so hopefully you will have an exterior to match soon. That Homebase thing behind your seat has been working wonders ;)
My Cup renewal is up very shortly so that will be £600 or so out the window, however I may have a new car in anywhere between a fortnight and a month or so. So I could literally be changing the policy within days of renewing.
How does this work? Do I just contact the insurers and get the car...
(un!)reliable as any other Clio really, but less electrics to go wrong which is always a bonus and apparently certain engine jobs are easier due to lack of aircon.
From my experience a Clio is as bad as you want it to be, especially one under warranty. Many people will have theirs in 10-15...
