You too buddy, I seem to have ocd when it comes to keeping the clio clean so that will be why, I hate it being dirty haha
He won't be far from me at all then I'm up near the west drive area in cleveleys, usually see him on amoundernous way so that makes sense.
How long have you had your 182? I...
Photo wise you may be better signing up for photobucket or Flickr (which is better) as it will make things a lot easier in future for you.
I am a fan of flocked dashes to looking forward to seeing the progress :)
I'm the chap with the BG 182, I knew steve too.
I've also noticed you about but couldn't remember seeing you on here, welcome along again anyway, now we'll really have to sort something out between us all!
I've literally just done a spotted post for your friend with the RB too, that answers...

I have given it a quick once over myself this morning and to me (I'm no mechanic) it doesn't seem quite as bad as I was lead to believe, it looks like as you said it could just be the bolts.
I have been in touch with Andy anyway and will be popping to see him when I know what I am...
I keep seeing an RB 182 around cleveleys.
It has some sort of black wheels on it, it's always moving so I can't make out what they are though.
Looks nice anyway if you are on here
thanks a lot buddy, you don't happen to know what size steering wheels people run to be slightly smaller than standard do you?
I'm 6'5" and the standard one is a bit big and catches my knees.
haha good point. I'll be keeping an eye out on ebay etc to see what pops up anyway.
Like I said it is supposed to be 'cheap fun' how long that lasts we shall have to see.
That looks miles better and I have a can of that in my garage from doing the wipers, I'll give that a shot, cheers!
Cheers Ste, yours isn't too shabby either! looking forward to getting it to a similar level to yours.
Cheers matey I'll try to not let you down!
I know your feelings when it comes to these but you'll be pleased to know it won't be going full on JDM Yo'
Mainly because I can't be bothered...
Cheers chaps.
Well after giving the car a once over it is no way near as bad as I expected! actually I am quite happy with it!
I have been running it on the road for the last 3 weeks however today it was declared as 'Sorn' and taken off the road so I can start my plans.A
As it stands the car...
I have just done my friends after work for her, couple of sheets of wet and dry that I had around the garage and hit it with megs 105 via da and they came up brilliant.
These kits seem a bit over priced to me.
My mechanic seemed pretty sure it was the rocker but I'm willing to check anything before diving in to the belts again, I'll go out and double check after, is there a set torque to do them back up to?
I've literally just done a partial steering refresh along with the gearbox oil today too...
He's about the same distance from me but the opposite direction and I know his work is good so I'll be phoning them both :)
Bugger about the belts though what a ballache. Still if needs must it has to be done I guess.
Hi guys.
I was just hoping one of the specialists on here could point me in the right direction price wise.
I have a leaking rocker gasket which has now got to the point where it needs doing.
I had my belts and dephaser done by a specialist back in april and didn't mention that the rocker had...
Well my last attempt failed...I'm not a fan of my work computers.
Here's the 'S.

A couple from an R56 I did this weekend...Ignore the exhaust I am making to a second trip to do the roof/spoiler and the finer details like that due to time constraints.

Get a picture up of your faded paint, if it isn't too bad a hobby detailer on here may be able to help you out?
For example I just did this to my mx5:

May work out a lot cheaper short term for you as a quick fix.
