No need for drop links. The second pic is a bracket to support the subframe and as explained it holds the archliner. Also, the lower mount looks fine to me.

There's plenty of problems you could come across. The main thing you should probably consider is most 172's will be coming up for their second cam-belt change (approx £4-500). Make sure it's been done or you budget for it or you could have a pretty nasty shock.

Looks good as said. Lose the CS sticker and tints though, imo.

No point in changing the leads unless they're playing up. Add an oil filter to that list. Also, a coolant flush & brake fluid change wouldn't be the worst idea.
