    Amazing build. I love how he mentions dropping out an engine like it's no big deal, lol. Or, stayed up all night to make a wiring harness from scratch. Crazy.

    The thing about most Mk1's is they're rustbuckets, and you'll never see the money returned when you sell the thing. You really would be better off waiting a while until insurance is cheaper and getting a 172!

    As above. Jack and axle stands. Socket set. Breaker bar might be handy, but it's not necessary. Torx bit for disc retaining screw. Hammer- needed for every job in the Failsport workshop.
