Yes, unsprung weight, I changed to Bi material discs on the 280 and they're 2kgs EACH lighter so a saving of 4kgs on the front end. It all adds up if you can shave weight in the right places which only improves when out on the road.
This Makita router is the Botox! Over £100 quids worth of Trend latch jig but worth it's weight, supplied with over a dozen templates for didn't make latches. Making life SO much easier.

Bought these the last couple of weeks, sacking off the old cordless tools and gone with the Makita 18V range, next on the list is a planer, then a skill saw.
The trimmer is also a router so that makes doing door hinges and locks so much easier, it certainly opens up options for small joinery...
