Its a bit of a drive, but @MicKPM at Diamond Motors does the 182 and will be doing the 220 as well.
You can leave the car with him and get train to Nottingham for the day.
Fair play on your memory. I used to be the West Midlands Area Rep many moons ago. Unfortunately the 172Cup went to the scrap yard in the sky back in 2009, so got a Megane Coupe (1.6) got bored within 12 months, then got a titanium silver 182 (which I still have!) She's been upgraded in terms of...
One really cool thing I found was on the R.S. Monitor for the pedal map. It was set to 'Snow' tried it on 'Extreme' but have settled for 'Linear' the joys of FBW throttles!
My little lady, Got her on 1st December and it's a nice car. LY, leather interior (heated front seats), Akropovic exhaust, RS Monitor (about £3,750 in options!) I'm her 2nd owner.
@Sunglasses_Ron @Nik Are you boys updating the CSF website as clicked it to see what was what and it just says sorry about 2020. Apologies if it's already in hand.
@JON FOZ may be your man. He has the Megane Trophy R so will know the floorplan and holes for mounting plates. See what he comes back with as I've tagged him.
Battery changed for a fully charged one and still nothing. So dash top off and check connections, etc or hunt for a new set of clocks with 111k on there.
Looking like some form of connectivity with the dash clocks. No clocks move at all....the backlight has gone so when the headlights are...
I've a fully charged Yuasa one I charged up the other week, so I might go back in a bit and swap it over to see if it has the desired effect.
Appreciate the help and advice from everyone so far.
The garage is nowhere near a power supply. It's a garage for storage, near other garages, so doesn't have any form of power, hence why I've not used one before. Get where you're coming from, but it isn't feasible where the car is stored.
It's my play car, sits for weeks at a time.doing nothing. I don't do much with her to be fair. It's a 50 mile round trip to the garage, so it's not my daily. About 2k miles per year, if that...
I would hope not as battery was showing just over 12v at standstill and 14.4v when running. I have a spare I can swap out, so will give that a go when I'm next over there. Cheers
So...car has been sat in garage and barely used. Got to her today and she started fine, dash lights showed, but the fuel gauge and rev counter didn't move at all when the engine was running. Also, the mileage part of the dash wasn't showing.
Haven't taken the dash top off as of yet, but...
I remember going to the Midlands Breakfast Club meeting many years ago. This man with a comb over was thinking he was great with his Lambo...and his son had a lamb jacket on and kept trying to show off to everyone. He fired up the V12 and revved it from cold (as you do with temperamental Italian...
For you Milwaukee lovers....this isn't too bad for storage. Coming in at £199 was £269.99

He is @JON FOZ on here. I know he is getting some done for Recaros and does them in normal and x-low....he's been sound with me, as waiting on him to do some xlow for the Recaro Trendlines for my 182.
Evening,
I have the fatty induction kit on my 182. The RamAir filter seems to be moving a little too much as it is catching and damaging the foam on the filter.
Just seeing if anyone has any good ideas as want to keep it in place (or as near to as possible) and prolong the life of the new...
Are you using the normal seatbelt or a harness? As if you are planning on using the seat belt, you will probably be best to order base mounted subframe with the piece on to house the seatbelt bracket and use the bolt from donor seat to allow it to work for you. That was my experience when I put...
RSTuner is good and relatively cheap for it, but....you don't get Airbag or ABS modules on there from scratch. You have to add them, but if you buy a 2nd hand one, like I did, you could get lucky and have the Airbag module already on there. They're around £40 for each extra module, built all...
I still loved that thief who was crushed by a car and killed stealing the cat. Karma is a b**ch....the problem is, if you do see someone, you can't do anything or you'll be up for assault...even when protecting your own property from unwelcome attention.
Or if you know someone decent who works for one. I got mine as I fix cars for club members....well...that's what he told me to say. Its come in useful over the years.

May be of use to someone....
Snappy is a professional, but has a substantial waiting list. I say to people to buy another wheel needing refurb, send that off and get it refurbed, then once back, put refurb onto your car and sell your wheel to someone wanting a refurb like you did. Snappy is bloody good, just means you are...
