People seem to be forgetting that the 1st RenaultSport models in the range are always cr4p, then they get it right a little while later ... Before they create 15 limited editions. Meggy 225 > 225 Trophy > R26 Ph2 172 > 172 Cup > 182 Trophy 197 > 197 Cup > 200 Etc etc. Give it 12 months and...

    Toyo T-1R useless on track?

T1R's are great, less grip = more fun. Oh, & they cost f*ck all. Imho the clio doesnt have enough power to warrant R888's etc except when racing/timing - makes it waaaaay too easy.

Flaming Grill Food Challenge. Wednesday 17th Oct

Re: Flaming Grill Food Challenge. Wednesday 10th Oct Dont worry Luke, in the time it takes you to eat the burger, the valver would have lost the equivalent weight in bodyshell. So at least you wont have to worry about it carrying home any extra weight ;)

Flaming Grill Food Challenge. Wednesday 17th Oct

Re: Flaming Grill Food Challenge. Wednesday 10th Oct Might be worthwhile phoning in advance - dont want to be let down by a lack of meat at the meet.

Flaming Grill Food Challenge. Wednesday 17th Oct

Re: Flaming Grill Food Challenge. Wednesday 10th Oct lol, slight typo, considering 480oz is 13.5kgs (about the same as a Turini with a tyre in CS speak).

Flaming Grill Food Challenge. Wednesday 17th Oct

Re: Flaming Grill Food Challenge. Wednesday 10th Oct lol, just been browsing t'web about these challenges, seems Pistonheads found a place in Brighton that does an even bigger one ... 48oz of meat, 6 x burgers, 6 x bacon, 6 x cheese, 2 eggs, lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo & fries.

Flaming Grill Food Challenge. Wednesday 17th Oct

Re: Flaming Grill Food Challenge. Wednesday 10th Oct No. But i will admit, all that chilli in it does look pretty rank. Also, lolz at the calorie counting, 'Myfitnesspal' app will have a heart attack, as will i no doubt.

480's are pretty awful tbh, & only saved slightly by their epic 'lambda sensor' stickerz. Wow, highrolling emissions based goodness iirc. They arent as bad as the early 90's seat ibiza 1.2s with the 'engine by Porsche' stickers on the back though. Oh my days

Re: Flaming Grill Food Challenge. Dont worry, if Nick comes, ill get to see another of my old Trophy's. FFS. EFA ;) Mid week would be good, when Ollie is back from holiday (back on the 5th Oct i think) - would be like watching a snake eat an elephant lol

    TOYO PROXES R1-R

Yeah, the tread moves around when they get hot - not great when new/lots of tread.

    Need some advice.. Buying car!

For £2.5k id want it to be absolutely mint, with full service history. My Trophy could have had 55k and 3 stamps in the book if i had a) changed the clocks, b) bought a service book off ebay.
  27. Sir_Dave

    RB, too good to turbo?

I dont see why you would be ruining it? Its an engine change, not a widearch body kit that you cant even be bothered to smooth into the sides ... (like a V6 lol)
