Can add a few more if you prefer, got thousands lol ... needed to take alot really, its only been that clean once :p
Ha ha, good point :dapprove: although im not sure having it sit in the car park all year round just to maintain my epic status on CS would be particularly good use of £££'s...
For anyone that is interested: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?660932-1-x-high-spec-very-well-loved-187k-mile-Clio-Trophy&p=8983110#post8983110
If no body wants to buy it however, im not overly bothered lol.
FLOL, well ive just into the office to be greated by a note saying 'With compliments, you 'M' loving, Trophy owning a55 bandit. Much love x'
You gotta love CS friendships :o
I wouldnt bother, i get similar mpg in the R32, you will only be disappointed if you are used to German tbh, the...
From memory, Foxy couldnt change a spark plug before he bought his mk1 ... Now he can fit jap engines in to rwd german vehicles!!
Mk1 = better learning platform than doing a mechanics course lol
I love that you replied to his statement properly, i simply couldnt be bothered ...
Some people just dont know the difference between grip, handling, or that often overlooked aspect - feel.
But no, i havent bought any CH's, a big box did just arrive from VW with the parts for a major service...
Re: Gaz talks sense, listen to him.
Really?
When i drive Sarah's TT back to back with my R32, its quite clear how much better the later platform is from a drivers persective imho.
So you havent had both then? In fact, you are comparing the MK4 platform with the Mk5, which is like comparing Adele with Kate Beckinsale, same platform, but one is an overweight disappointment and the other is, well, in some eyes, its considered to be one of the best of its type.
Tbf, my R32 gets about 335 to a tank, although thats just sat at 70-80 all the time, not much town work.
With reference to your TDi, it could have as much torque as the QE2 for all i care. I dont love the R32 for its torque, i love it because its simply blooming good as almost everything!! As...
Nah, i prefer the CK's tbh. CH's just remind me of Edition30's. And id rather not my R32 look like an inferior Golf really ;)
LM's are awesome, but only on square old skool cars imho, like a Skyline, e30 M3, etc.
At the end of the day though, some 19" CK's with decent tyres are about £1800...
Yah, been on both of those most of the afternoon lol ... unfortunately, no one on the R32oc has Relfex Silver (let alone a moredoor) so its very difficult to judge how modifications might look. Golfmk5 has a massive 20+ page thread dedicated to the colour  Need. BBS. Lowz.
Been spending waay too much time on the US forums as of late - mainly reading up on servicing guides, etc, but have decided that i need some lowz sharpish!! The Mk5 just looks soo much better without 3 inches of arch gap!!
Admitedly, Shadow Blue is pretty gorgeous anyway
Alfa's have character as well lol. Just means they break down a lot iirc ;)
I did love the Mk1 when it came out though!!! Just not sure i could buy one over a 205 gti ...
Gutted to see this!! Some people really are ar5eholes - pm Nick172cup however, he is currently breaking an arctic 182 so has all the bits you need to repair, bar the turinis. Tell him i sent you :)
