If you are going to immediately have to buy a cup spoiler and refurbish the wheels factor that into the price, £100-150 for a cup spoiler if your lucky enough to find one in the colour you want or that amount plus paint if you don't and a decent refurb on the wheels will be £200 ish.

Not to doubt you but have you checked the whole heat shield? I was convinced that my exhaust was doing this until i found a piece of heatshield that had corroded and was rattling right at the back away from any of the usual fixings. You may have done this but if not its worth checking.
