I have had a search and looked into several options to refurb the wheels, if anyone could give me any help that'd be great.
Option 1: The wheel specialist Leeds, searching I have seen good feedback on them and it'd be the easiest but most expensive option. I sent a quote request a while back and it came to £366 inc VAT so didn't think about it again and looked at other options. Looking at some earlier posts on the wheel specialist some have mentioned that £200-250 is a more reasonable price, does any one have recent experience of them or know if they will negotiate/CS discount/anyone know them?
Option 2: Cas Coatings. The bad: need bare wheels, will have to paint the center caps myself, only open during the week, there my only set of wheels so it's axel stands or borrow a set of wheel off somebody. There cheap and get good feedback recently. What should I expect to pay to have the tyres removed and re-fitted and balanced? It's a bit of a f*nny on but it'd be pretty cheap at £16 a wheel.
Option 3: Do it myself. Looks about as expensive/cheap as Cas with as much hassle and no guarantee that I will do anything like a decent job!
Option 4: Any other suggestions from other members in the Yorkshire area?
If you have had experience of the above or can advise on what I should expect to pay (particularly with the wheel specialist) it'd be a great help.
cheers Nick
