Only ever used R888s and love them, just bought a pair of kumho v70a as these are meant to be good as well.
Get all my track tyres from ebay part worn, some real bargains out there. Once got 4 x R888s in 195/50/15 with 4mm,(5mm new) all round for £80.
You just need to be quick!
If a cotton filter should be fine with the recharge kit. I just spray the cleaning solution on and leave until nearly dry, then wash the filter in warm soapy water, leave to dry and re-oil. Always worked fine for me over the years.
Tip, if you need the filter dry sharpish then get a hairdryer...
Yeah a combination of them mate, the ring and sensor at the same time and then the pump shortly after. PITA is an understatment and I very nearly fucked it off at one point as it was costing me money in lost track day fees, even done one with no ABS which was hairy as the cars bias goes to 50/50...
ABS ring, then NSR sensor, then the ABS pump. Pissed about for months throwing time and money only to be sent on a wild goose chase diagnosing through a snap on solus ultimate scanner.
Just find someone local with CLIP to diagnose the issue. Trust me it's the easiest way to diagnose a fault within the ABS system. Cost me £10 from a local Renault specialist.
Snap on diagnostics tools on these cars are utter shite, one told me I had a rear wheel speed sensor fault when in fact it was a cpu failure (abs pump) when diagnosed using Clip.
The OMP frames sit wonky as well and require spacers to level out. As above Jon Foz xlow frames are what you want, unless you're a short arse then get the standard ones.
The Brembos lasted me 3 hours. This was at Oulton mind, ended up being black flagged due them setting on fire out on track, day was over before dinner.
I had no ABS light when one of my front rings gave up. Just pedal fart below 5mph and under heavy braking the car tried to pull the rear around. ABS still active.
Fixed that and then the NSR sensor went a week later, ABS light on among others like TC, service, handbrake...that disengaged the...
No mate they do them in velour in red, blue and black. If you want the std version then you want the Bimarco Cobra. I'd fit in the cobra myself but my mate who drives my car wouldn't so need to compromise with the Cobra II. Think the std is 34cm inner v 40cm for the II.
Loads of options, Bimarco do decent seats at good prices, I'll be going with the Cobra II as they get half decent reviews and are really inexpensive at £130 delivered. That's there budget seat if you want something better like the futura which is FIA approved thats only £230. Then there's the...
Get yourself a proper flair nut spanner from Halfords for the nipple and their own penetrating spray will suffice. The normal procedure is furthest away from the master going to closest for bleeding so NSR/OSR/NSF/OSF, always served me fine.
Seems that way, as you say on track would be a different story you'd think. Lighter wheels would aid better braking, better cornering and better acceleration. Not huge amounts but over a race of 10-20 laps would be a few seconds difference.
Interesting read from the NSXOC. I thought there would have been more in it.

Anyone want to swap some OZ/F1 15s for Clio OE 15s and cash my way :tongueclosed:
*just realised it's...
I tip for removing the front seats is soak the nuts underneath the car with penetrating spray a day before and on the day of removal, cant remember if its the inner or outer 2 but I sheared one of mine when removing them, as the nut was rusted on that bad.
Seems it will be a pressure switch then, just try and tape it down if it doesn't work then just get it on CLIP and get them deleted permanently once all fitted.
