I wouldn't be spending £8k on a Clio as a novice mate, budget half that and you'll get a real decent example 1*2 with cage, diff, seats and harness, power upgrades like cams and rs2, even throttle bodies, track brakes, track wheels and loads of spares etc.
How far are opening them? Just unscrew them all the way and see if gravity pulls fluid through if it does put the nipple back in and try again. If nothing, change them.
@K_McDermott how long did delivery take on the 1155s from eBay mate? As its saying estimated delivery date of the 20th of May, and in postage description states dispatched within 30 days.
Cars coming along nicely mate, just makes me want coilovers so bad as yours looks so much more planted around Oulton than mine. Car looks quick though, defo a good few seconds to be gained once you've got to grips with the track and new mods.

If funds allow go with the DR's with solid top mounts if solely a track car? I'll be going with DR's with 8kg/8kg spring rates when I get them as this is similar to the AST spring rates of 80n/mm = (8kg).
Yeah its the high speed braking zones mate that are the tricky ones with the ABS disabled, especially if you like to trail brake. I've done Aintree a few times now with no ABS and braking from 120 mph on the back straight is squeaky bum time, but it just takes a little getting used to, funny...

BC racing coilovers as you can adjust height and pre load, and you get the option of solid top mounts. Think they're around £700-800 last time I looked.
