Dremel the inlet? That's probably the most labour intensive way of doing it 🤣. Buy a spare and send it somewhere for vapour blasting or have it powder coated and just swap them over.
As for carbon dipped parts, just no🙈.
You can bake them in the oven for about 15 mins and split them. It's not an easy job though and getting them back together righ isn't easy. Then the adjusters in the good one will probably break anyway. I'd only do that if the insides need cleaning up at all. If you just need to swap the broken...
Buying another Clio and starting agian would be a mistake I think. Besides cheap clio's don't really exist these days so you'd be in it for more even before you know if it would survive the drive home nevermind a track day. If I were you I'd have the car shipped off to have a recon gearbox...
That is surprisingly battered. That's another job done though that you'll not have to worry about. I hope the aircon gasses up without any issues mate👍.
Nice work Louis. This is probably a job mine needs but unfortunately I missed out on the cheap air con parts on ebay😭. I'll add it to the maybe to do list for next year 😂.
Don't make sense, why sell a car because you do very little mileage to buy one that more sensible? If I only did 2k a year I'd sell my Clio for a big V8 or a cobra rep or a rally slag or anything less sensible! Start at 5k and see what he says.
They do look like they have had very little use and the external weights would be period correct. With the oe tyres on they would be perfect for a low miles concourse car that hardly ever moves, but who has one of those? A fair price would be whatever you're willing to pay for them, but I expect...
It's possible that common issues such have already been fixed on the car so I wouldn't worry too much until something feels wrong. Enjoy your new car for a while 👍.
Any questions just ask, someone will help you out. Hopefully before you have a hissy fit and delete your account 😂.
Not that I'm saying all mk3 owners are that needy 👍.
They do look amazing too. But a mk3 needs that big flat spot mapping out anyway so may as well go for a couple extra horses. Every one counts when you're lugging all that weight around 😂.
Deohaser changed last year would indi ate belt changed too. Unless it was don't by an absolute fuckmuffin who swapped the pulley and reused the old belt while knocking the timing out by a week or two in the process.
It looks decent though and if there is a receipt for belts done last year by a...
